The Brief This Worthing client sought a stylish upgrade on their previous kitchen, swapping an old monochrome kitchen for something a little more colourful. As well as a new theme, it was also up to designer Phil to incorporate a traditional element to match the style of this property, incorporating useful storage options. This client was also looking for a full flooring improvement which would help to integrate a dining and seating area into this vast space. Design Elements To suit the space designer Phil has created a great layout which incorporates all the elements of this project brief, with the bulk of amenities centred around a range cooker. Extra storage is provided in tall units that run all the way towards the dining and living area of this property. The theme is comprised of Virginia shaker furniture from British supplier Mereway in colours sea mist and pebble grey. Traditional features have been included in this project in the form of a butler style sink and herringbone flooring from Karndean. The flooring has been fitted by our expert team, and runs throughout this whole space to create a luxurious feel. The chimney breast surrounding the range looks original, but has been built out by our installation team to add a further traditional element. Phil has added further storage either side of the range in the form of discrete cabinetry. Special Inclusions A key part of this design was creating a communal feel in the kitchen. To accomplish this, great care has been taken to incorporate the seating and dining area into the design making the vast room feel connected. To add to this element a peninsula island has been included with space for three to sit. Around the kitchen, solid quartz surfaces have been opted for, with Silestone’s lusso finish nicely complimenting the theme of the space. Project Highlight To integrate the required storage, designer Phil has used a number of clever solutions to provide organised and maximised storage space. An impressive pantry is built into tall units, with corner units and a pull out pantry also in the design. Feature end unit storage provides a nice place to store decorative cook books. The End Result The end result is a kitchen and dining space the ticks all boxes. A great design incorporates the traditional features, storage requirements and extra inclusions this client desired to create a wonderful kitchen space. This bold and blue traditional kitchen was designed by Bilotta’s Jeni Spaeth with Interior Designer Jane Bell of Jane Bell Interiors. Designed for a bachelor’s penthouse, the view from the apartment spectacularly overlooks Westchester County with sights as far as Manhattan. Featuring Bilotta Collection Cabinetry in a 1” thick door, the design team strayed far from the classic white kitchen and opted for a regal shade of blue on the perimeter and natural walnut on the island. The color palette is further emphasized by the polished Blue Bahia granite top on the island and beautifully accented by the pops of gold used for the decorative hardware. The focal point of the kitchen is the Cornu Fe range, the Albertine model in black with satin nickel and polished brass accents. The accompanying hood is a custom design by Rangecraft in brushed stainless with satin gold elements. The countertop and backsplash surrounding the hearth area are in soft beige tones, a needed contrast to the darker hues of the cabinets and range. The L-shaped layout, with seating at the island, allows for wide-open views into the adjoining rooms and to the city below through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The improved layout featured built-in fridge/freezer; double ovens; induction hob; ceiling hood; layered lighting to create excellent task lighting and beautiful, soft mood lighting.

This unique kitchen transformation in Epsom Downs showcases a blend of personal style and functionality. This project was driven by a client’s wish to paint the kitchen cabinetry in a shade that perfectly matches their cherished Le Creuset collection. This specific requirement set the tone for the entire design, creating a kitchen space that is as visually stunning as it is functional. The chosen range for this project was the classic Clarkewell, known for its clean lines and timeless appeal. The cabinetry was paint-matched to the striking blue of the client’s Le Creuset collection, creating an impressive and cohesive look. The worktops in white Quartz provide a bright contrast to the blue cabinetry. The matching worktop upstand and splashback enhance the kitchen’s aesthetic and offer practical benefits in terms of durability and ease of maintenance. Complementing these features is the luxurious gold Quooker Tap, which adds a touch of glamour and convenience. A key aspect of the design was the integration of smart storage solutions. This includes a Corner Optimiser and the Blum Space Tower storage system, which maximises space utilisation, ensuring that every inch of the kitchen is efficiently used. The owner of this home wished to transform this builder basic home to a European treasure. Having traveled the world, moved from San Francisco and now living in wine country she knew that she wanted to celebrate The charm of France complete with an French range, luxury refrigerator and wine cooler. The design process was a collaboration with the home owner, designer and contractor.

The kitchens for the 4 luxury apartments in the original Victorian gothic building of this recently converted hotel in North London needed to be sympathetic to the traditional style of design found throughout. Bespoke shaker doors were painted to order and paired with knurled brass handles, mirrored glass splashbacks and beautiful Calacatta quartz worktops and top-spec appliances were specified throughout.
