We started with a small, 3 bedroom, 2 bath brick cape and turned it into a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, with a new kitchen/family room layout downstairs and new owner’s suite upstairs. Downstairs on the rear of the home, we added a large, deep, wrap-around covered porch with a standing seam metal roof.

We've used light and airy fabrics in all the windows to create a simple, clean look and used beautiful linen sheer from JF Fabrics for the combination of functional lined sheer drapes and the hobbled sheer roman shades. We’ve tried to optimize the design to make the rooms look more spacious and uniform in style. . We kept the open feel in the living room by creating neutral window treatments in off white, lined sheer for privacy and the sun control. The light filled, step down family room has a custom, vaulted tray ceiling and double sets of French doors with aged bronze hardware leading to the patio. Tucked away in what looks like a closet, the built-in home bar has Sub-Zero drink drawers. The gorgeous Rumford double-sided fireplace (the other side is outside on the covered patio) has a custom-made plaster moulding surround with a beige herringbone tile insert.
