The homeowners could not agree on what would go above the fireplace. The wife insisted a painting and the husband wanted a TV. Problem solved! The TV is hidden behind a framed scrolling canvas. With the touch of the remote, the image goes from Monet's sailboats to ESPN!

The light filled, step down family room has a custom, vaulted tray ceiling and double sets of French doors with aged bronze hardware leading to the patio. Tucked away in what looks like a closet, the built-in home bar has Sub-Zero drink drawers. The gorgeous Rumford double-sided fireplace (the other side is outside on the covered patio) has a custom-made plaster moulding surround with a beige herringbone tile insert. Welcome to an Updated English home. While the feel was kept English, the home has modern touches to keep it fresh and modern. The family room was the most modern of the rooms so that there would be comfortable seating for family and guests. The family loves color, so the addition of orange was added for more punch.

A second story addition much needed for a growing family. These clients needed a master bedroom, another guest bedroom, more storage, another full bathroom, & a space for their family to enjoy each other's company. We achieved all this with a second story addition over their existing garage!

This view showcases the beautiful quartzite stone countertop. Overlooking into the family room you can see the bar off to the left. An antique American drop front desk, grasscloth wall covering and custom sofas by Lee Jofa create a welcoming vibe.

Take a look at the transformation of this 90's era home into a modern craftsman! We did a full interior and exterior renovation down to the studs on all three levels that included re-worked floor plans, new exterior balcony, movement of the front entry to the other street side, a beautiful new front porch, an addition to the back, and an addition to the garage to make it a quad. The inside looks gorgeous! Basically, this is now a new home!
