There are so many components of this space that show functionality and glamour. We kept the bright white theme throughout this custom home and extended the shiplap and white high-end materials into the bathroom. One of our favorite pieces that really captured the look included a Victoria + Albert free standing tub. Working with Krystine Edwards on the interior design, the homeowners chose oversized lanterns over the vanities, which were purchased from a local lighting store – Carolina Lanterns. And, the Moroccan style mirrors added just the extra touch of charm. Now, let’s talk about the oversized walk-in, frameless glass shower. It is simply breathtaking. We used Bianca Carerra marble, arabesque tile and penny round tiles on the floor. With three shower heads, there’s the option to set the temperature to each person’s liking. Once the valves are set you never have to change it again; you simply turn on the water! This classic white look will stand the test of time, and the glamorous selections make it one of the most beautiful master bathrooms we’ve constructed.

The Master Bathroom features warm antique oak wide plank floors from Carlisle Flooring. Embossed tile wainscoting walls from Pratt and Larson envelopes the room as well as covers the shower walls. Custom vanity cabinets were painted and glazed in a light gray wash and were topped with a quartz countertop. The curvy silhouette of the mirrors as well as the embroidered window valance and area rug bring softness to the space. Motorized window shades allow for instant privacy for the claw foot tub in the bay. Shower features hex wood look tile floor, bench seat, 3 shower heads including rain shower head in oil rubbed bronze finish.

Having two shower heads and separate marble shelves and seats is a convenience they both enjoy. They particularly adored the “worn oak vinyl flooring” by Amtico which looked just like wood without the maintenance. The custom vanity and linen tower cabinetry was custom cherry with a mocha finish and was a stunning contrast to the neutral tile and all wood beadboard that created a resort-like feel for our clients.

Installation of Bead Board has been a popular request from many customers. The attention to detail in our signature bead board millwork and trim really makes a difference in the overall quality of the project.

The owners hired a contractor to remove a wall between the original bathroom and a bonus room to make a more open space. A custom shower was installed using faux marble subway tiles. The shower also has double ceiling shower heads and a glass enclosure. To take advantage of the 10 ft. ceilings, two beveled glass mirrors were added above the vanity. The vanity was an antique piece that was purchased specifically for the space, and retrofitted with plumbing and fixtures. A period style bathtub and fixtures were installed in front of the large double window. Again, faux wood blinds were installed, and dark gray silk taffeta drapes were hung to give this bathroom a regal feel.
