A modern staircase that is both curved and u-shaped, with fluidly floating wood stair railing. Cascading glass teardrop chandelier hangs from the to of the 3rd floor down to the Basement.

This client did not like the previous would railing. She wanted something not as bulky and something with more style and design. We decided on this custom, hand curved, contemporary railing. Did you notice the floating bends in the railing. This railing has square tubing for the pickets and was powder coated black.

This grand 2 story open foyer has an eye catching curved staircase with a patterned carpet runner, dark treads and dark stained handrail. A round center hall walnut table graces the space and is visually balanced by the orb "globe" style hanging pendant fixture above it. The patterned oval rug plays homage to the coffered ceiling above and aids in bringing ones eye up to this beautifully designed space. The living room with it's comfortable yet elegant furnishings and curved wall sconces with petite shades are also seen from the center hall. Off of the living room one can see a glimpse of the hallway's "curved" coffered ceiling, the console table with globe and wooden sculptures. The contemporary painting above the console's table brings everything together culminating into an elegant and welcoming environment. An Arts & Crafts staircase in solid European oak, with alternating spindles and panels. The panels are made of an oak frame with an elm burr inset panel where a stylised tulip piercing has been cut.

This image showcases the main hallway space, exuding grandeur and elegance with its expansive dimensions and sophisticated design. This dramatically stunning second floor landing is filled with architectural detailing. Beautiful dark hardwood hand rail works in unison with the dark hard wood wide-plank flooring. Wainscoting with elegant top rail wraps around this beautiful space. Beneath the large picture window is a window seat that spans that wall and has plenty of custom built-in storage. The large picture window with true divided lights is topped off by a half round window with curved mullions giving a nod to the curved elements of the first floor. Half round transoms adorn the tops of doorways and corridor entrances. Quatrefoil motif antiqued mirrors flank both sides of the large picture window. Three floating-curved flights play a spectacular effect in this recently built home; soft wooden oak treads and oak rails blend beautifully with the hardwood flooring, while its balustrade is an architectural decorative confection of black wrought-iron in clean geometrical patterns. The main staircase and focal point of the entry leads up to the second floor landing/balcony, with glass railing, provides a great view of the two story book-matched marble ribbon fireplace and the living room below. The all white space has a soaring custom white geometric (octagonal) coffered ceiling and panel molding, black wood accents (banister) and light hardwood flooring. A beautiful glass and brass accented chandelier hangs above the entryway.
