This kitchen was updated while bringing in our client’s love for France. We decided the best approach was an updated French feel while modernizing the kitchen with a new layout and sophisticated finishes. New GE Café appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry round out this inviting kitchen. Another twist: Moroccan pendant lights to add a touch of glamour to the otherwise neutral room. This client had a small very outdated kitchen. we took out all cabinets. Closed up the block small windows. Framed the refrigerator and created more storage space. We added details on island and fan hood and around the pull-out space cabinet. Note the re/orange line in the cabinets and on the crown modeling.

This small kitchen was inaccessible from the existing dining room. The rooms adjacent to the kitchen were needing natural light and improved flow. Embracing the vintage, and her love for Shabby Chic style, this coastal beach client wanted to retain her original stove, as well as her original kitchen cabinets. We also kept all her vintage china and old appliances. We removed the old tile counter and backsplash, and replaced them with a butcherblock countertop from IKEA, and beadboard backsplash. The farmhouse sink and bridge faucet and vintage style chandelier were also purchased for the new space. Since my client doesn't use the old stove very often, she opted for no hood above the stove. The breakfast nook is quite tiny yet still suitable for morning breakfasts for two.

This country meets city look was expertly carried out by both the designer and the client. Medallion White Icing cabinetry provides the foundation, while distressed wood open shelving and a butcher block island countertop provides an aesthetic juxtaposition. Finished with mint green accents, this downtown DC kitchen is on the cutting edge stylistically.

French Country Gourmet Kitchen Complete Renovation of a Modern Kitchen Design formerly with Light Oak Cabinets to a charming and inviting French Country New Orleans Kitchen. Custom Off White Cabinets combined with a two tone checkerboard patterned tile create a stunning gourmet french country kitchen. A custom vent hood was constructed and adorns the gas cooktop. The black galaxy granite countertops provide just enough contrast to the white on white kitchen. Checkerboard flooring is a favorite because it is reminiscent of old French kitchens. The white on white is accented with true white subway tile for the backsplash. Accents of black granite countertop combined with open glass shelving and silver decor create a fresh french country inspired design style.
