Cindy Juillet of Reico Kitchen & Bath in King of Prussia, PA collaborated with Greg Amey to design a beautiful Old World inspired French Country style kitchen featuring Ultracraft Cabinetry. The kitchen showcases the Ultracraft Oakland Park door style in Maple with a Moon Bay Brown Linen Low Sheen finish. The perimeter countertop is Valente Pearl quartz by Corian, while the island countertop features Nocturne by LG Viatera. “We appreciate Cindy’s advice in making design choices, both in the details and in the overall layout, while at the same time honoring our wishes. We wanted the look of an Old World/French Country kitchen to match the French Normandy style of our older home. We got it! The layout of the large space makes food prep and entertaining easy and fun,” said the client. Cindy mentioned that the biggest challenge designing this kitchen was the space was very large. “The client wanted to combine the existing small kitchen and dining room into one large kitchen and also have enough room for a 12-seat dining table. I wanted to make sure that everything would flow and be cohesive. They love to cook so I incorporated a 48" stove with plenty of counter top space on either side,” said Cindy. Reminiscent of a villa in south of France, this Old World yet still sophisticated home are what the client had dreamed of. The home was newly built to the client’s specifications. The wood tone kitchen cabinets are made of butternut wood, instantly warming the atmosphere. The perimeter and island cabinets are painted and captivating against the limestone counter tops. A custom steel hammered hood and Apex wood flooring (Downers Grove, IL) bring this room to an artful balance.

View from the breakfast room shows many of the new kitchen highlights: the large Jenn-Air french door refrigerator, the open pantry, the blackboard cabinet doors - perfect for messages, today's menu or the kids artwork.

Transitional French Country in the heart of Clifton, VA. This beautiful kitchen was a dream of our client that we helped make into life. The details make this even better, with off white cabinets in the main kitchen that have a light glaze. The large walnut wood top on the island, and the Metal vent hood were specially ordered by the client and help ground the whole kitchen. The tall upper cabinets around the sink even have antiqued mirror, to add even more light and interest to the space. We also added an armoire to the side in a darker paint with glaze and more antiquing to house extra large items and all their phones and chargers. The trash can, bread drawer inserts, and spice rack pullouts are all from Rev-A-Shelf

The decision to keep the original cabinet boxes meant simply replacing the cabinet drawers and drawer fronts for a refreshing transformation. The porcelain tile floor has the unmistakable look of brick without the struggle to keep it clean. New appliances, stylish range hood, and a new cabinet box for the refrigerator. A custom island located in the original dining nook satisfies the client's number one request, providing a place to drink wine and make cookies.
