Natural planked oak, paired with chalky white and concrete sheeting highlights our Jackson Home as a Scandinavian Interior. With each room focused on materials blending cohesively, the rooms holid unity in the home‘s interior. A curved centre peice in the Kitchen encourages the space to feel like a room with customised bespoke built in furniture rather than your every day kitchen. My clients main objective for the homes interior, forming a space where guests were able to interact with the host at times of entertaining. Unifying the kitchen, dining and living spaces will change the layout making the kitchen the focal point of entrace into the home.

Un Archi Dans Ma Cuisine Restructuration d'un appartement familial à Paris. Une partie de l'appartement a été restructurée, les cloisons de la petite entrée ont été déposées. L'ancienne cuisine remisée au fond de l'appartement a été transformée en bureau, et une nouvelle cuisine a trouvé sa place dans le salon. Pour cet appartement familial où le parti pris était d'avoir une grande cuisine avec beaucoup de rangement, ouverte sur le salon mais avec une identité propre. Il était donc important de démarquer le passage du salon à la cuisine, pour cela plusieurs moyens ont été employés : tout d'abord, l'emprise de la cuisine a été délimitée au sol par un changement de revêtement. Du carrelage navette de trois couleurs, noir, blanc et gris a ainsi été mixé pour remplacer le parquet dans cette nouvelle cuisine. Le parquet existant a alors été découpé minutieusement selon les formes du carrelage, ce qui apporte une touche graphique très forte à cette délimitation. Le deuxième moyen employé est la table en chêne massif réalisée sur-mesure, encastrée dans le meuble situé à l'extrémité de la cuisine, elle vient créer une séparation visuelle et physique tout en apportant l'aspect chaleureux et familial souhaité par les propriétaires. Le dernier moyen utilisé se trouve être le grand luminaire Troag de chez Foscarini, suspendu au- dessus de la table, il vient en hauteur dessiner la frontière de la cuisine. Afin d'avoir une lumière réglable en intensité, ce dernier a été modifié par l'ajout d'une bande led dimmable.

Edinburgh rented flat with restrictions in regard to any paint and finishes changes. Interior styling is done in a Scandinavian Style. The client wanted help with the basic pieces of furniture for each room, and, at a later date, she would continue to add all the elements that she wishes. A kitchen of juxtapositions, dark vs light, texture on texture. Dark veneer cabinetry conceal the pantry and hidden fridge. The lighter cabinetry extends into the living space and has a slimline shaker detail on the doors. A concealed laundry is worked into the space too.
