Everything Home

The new construction luxury home was designed by our Carmel design-build studio with the concept of 'hygge' in mind – crafting a soothing environment that exudes warmth, contentment, and coziness without being overly ornate or cluttered. Inspired by Scandinavian style, the design incorporates clean lines and minimal decoration, set against soaring ceilings and walls of windows. These features are all enhanced by warm finishes, tactile textures, statement light fixtures, and carefully selected art pieces. In the living room, a bold statement wall was incorporated, making use of the 4-sided, 2-story fireplace chase, which was enveloped in large format marble tile. Each bedroom was crafted to reflect a unique character, featuring elegant wallpapers, decor, and luxurious furnishings. The primary bathroom was characterized by dark enveloping walls and floors, accentuated by teak, and included a walk-through dual shower, overhead rain showers, and a natural stone soaking tub. An open-concept kitchen was fitted, boasting state-of-the-art features and statement-making lighting. 北欧スタイルの玄関ドアをリフォームする

玄関ドアは、玄関スペースの中で最も重要な箇所。予算が限られている場合でも、古くなったドアを塗り替えるだけでグッと印象が変わります。また、リフォーム用にデザインされたドアを活用すれば、工期や費用を抑えつつ、デザイン性、機能性ともに充実した玄関リフォームを実現することが可能です。また、ガラスドアで太陽光を取り入れると、玄関スペースを明るく演出することができます。玄関網戸は、室内の風通しをよくし、エアコンや扇風機の電気代が節約でき、虫よけ、結露対策に効果を発揮します。

玄関の空間を有効利用して収納力アップ！

狭い北欧スタイルの玄関でも空間を工夫して収納力をアップすれば、スペースにゆとりがうまれ、余裕のある豊かな暮らしを実感することができます。レインシューズやブーツなど場所を取る履物は、間仕切りの自由度の高いシューズボックスを選択し上手に収納しましょう。長さや色、デザインが異なる傘も、傘立てにまとめて入れれば、スッキリと整理することができます。また、壁と柱の間のスペースを使って、絵画を飾る棚や照明を設置するスペースを確保すれば、玄関スペースがバッと華やかになります。

玄関の使いやすさと安全性は妥協しない

高齢化社会を迎える日本にとって、住宅のバリアフリー化は重要な課題です。玄関エリアに段差をなくし緩やかなスロープを設置すれば、車椅子でも簡単に、そして安全に出入りすることが可能になります。スロープを設けるスペースがない場合は、階段昇降機で対応することも可能です。手すりは、車椅子に乗る人用とその他の家族用の2種類を設置しましょう。玄関に車椅子用の収納スペースを確保すると、外出準備が一箇所にまとまるので便利です。
