Morey Remodeling Group's kitchen design and remodel helped this multi-generational household in Garden Grove, CA achieve their desire to have two cooking areas and additional storage. The custom mix and match cabinetry finished in Dovetail Grey and Navy Hale were designed to provide more efficient access to spices and other kitchen related items. Flat Black hardware was added for a hint of contrast. Durable Pental Quartz counter tops in Venoso with Carrara white polished marble interlocking pattern backsplash tile is displayed behind the range and undermount sink areas. Energy efficient LED light fixtures and under counter task lighting enhances the entire space. The flooring is Paradigm water proof luxury vinyl.

The kitchen was a full remodel, along with much of the first floor. The biggest challenge in the designing the space was coordinating all of the materials to work within the kitchen as well as within the rest of the house. The home was renovated to be more of an open concept plan, so the kitchen was open to the dining room and living room. Top three notable/custom/unique features. Three notable features include the brick tile floor, custom wood countertop on the island and professional cooking appliances. The stainless steel farm sink and glass doors on the raised bar top add more detail throughout the space. The project also included a mudroom and pantry area, complete with the same cabinets as shown in the kitchen.

Double islands hold a prep sink, Wolf Range and glass fronted beverage fridge in this kitchen/great room with a corner stone fireplace. Granite stone slab counters blend with distressed painted cabinetry. Design by Rochelle Lynne Design, Cochrane, Alberta, Canada

It tastefully weaves together heavy, dramatic, industrial design, with warm, welcoming farmhouse ambience. For example, admire the way the dramatic black countertops and distressed black cabinetry are beautifully off-set by a large, white farmhouse sink, and tasteful accent open shelving on one wall. Note the many windows letting in natural light, and the airy feeling given off by the decorative "X" beams on the end of the island overlapping with a spacious breakfast bar. And who isn't charmed by the crate-style storage of staples like onions and potatoes?⠀

This is our current model for our community, Riverside Cliffs. This community is located along the tranquil Virgin River. This unique home gets better and better as you pass through the private front patio and into a gorgeous circular entry. The study conveniently located off the entry can also be used as a fourth bedroom. You will enjoy the bathroom accessible to both the study and another bedroom. A semi-detached guest suite (which can also be used as a studio, office, pool house or other function) with separate entrance is the front of the house adjacent to a gated entry. In the courtyard, a pool and spa create a private retreat. The main house is approximately 2500 SF and includes four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The design centerpiece is the two-story great room with asymmetrical stone fireplace and wrap-around staircase and balcony. A modern open-concept kitchen with large island and Thermador appliances is open to both great and dining rooms. The first-floor master suite is serene and modern with vaulted ceilings, floating vanity and open shower.
