This water closet also serves as the powder room for the home's main level. One door leads to the master bathroom and is lockable from the master bathroom. The other door leads to the main hallway. The client's budget would not allow for an additional powder room, so this 2-door solution gave them flexibility, and a powder room for guests while preserving privacy in their master bathroom.

The powder room perfectly pairs drama and design with its sultry color palette and rich gold accents, but the true star of the show in this small space are the oversized teardrop pendant lights that flank the embossed leather vanity.

A person’s home is the place where their personality can flourish. In this client’s case, it was their love for their native homeland of Kenya, Africa. One of the main challenges with these space was to remain within the client’s budget. It was important to give this home lots of character, so hiring a faux finish artist to hand-paint the walls in an African inspired pattern for powder room to emphasizing their existing pieces was the perfect solution to staying within their budget needs. Each room was carefully planned to showcase their African heritage in each aspect of the home. The main features included deep wood tones paired with light walls, and dark finishes. A hint of gold was used throughout the house, to complement the spaces and giving the space a bit of a softer feel.

Glamour is the statement in this compact Powder Room with a floating vanity. An oval stone vessel sink sits on a Cambrian stone counter with extra high backsplash to match. Chrome faucets with Swarovski crystals add the finishing touch.

This bold eclectic powder room features a wall of bright colorful and geometric encaustic cement tile. The black plank porcelain floor grounds the space. A cement console sink with chrome sink legs compliments the feature wall. An angular mid-century style brass wall light provides accent light over the brone-framed mirror. A natural woven shade provides soft texture and privacy.
