Instead of centering a tiny mirror over the sink we used the whole wall, centering the mirror on the wall and flanking it with directional modern wall sconces.

This half bathroom went from a dull, builder grade look to an eye-catching, memorable space. The bold paint color adds drama to the room and the metallic wallpaper really make this bathroom pop! A mixture of metal finishes and the crisp white vanity add a clean look to the Half Bathroom. Hickory wood flooring was added and runs throughout the main floor of the home.

Once their basement remodel was finished they decided that wasn't stressful enough... they needed to tackle every square inch on the main floor. I joke, but this is not for the faint of heart. Being without a kitchen is a major inconvenience, especially with children. The transformation is a completely different house. The new floors lighten and the kitchen layout is so much more function and spacious. The addition in built-ins with a coffee bar in the kitchen makes the space seem very high end. The removal of the closet in the back entry and conversion into a built-in locker unit is one of our favorite and most widely done spaces, and for good reason. The cute little powder is completely updated and is perfect for guests and the daily use of homeowners. The homeowners did some work themselves, some with their subcontractors, and the rest with our general contractor, Tschida Construction.

This little gem perfectly blends the formality of a powder bath with the form and function of a pool bath. Wainscoting lines the lower walls to guard against the traction of grandkids running back & forth. While a beautiful grasscloth wallcovering by Phillip Jeffries adds softness and charm.

En la imagen podemos ver uno de los baños que componen la vivienda tras la reforma. A pesar de ser pequeño es perfectamente accesible y práctico. Los materiales de revestimiento en forma de espiga dan protagonismo a la zona del espejo y el mueble.

外観は、黒いBOXの手前にと木の壁を配したような構成としています。 木製ドアを開けると広々とした玄関。 正面には坪庭、右側には大きなシュークロゼット。 リビングダイニングルームは、大開口で屋外デッキとつながっているため、実際よりも広く感じられます。 100㎡以下のコンパクトな空間ですが、廊下などの移動空間を省略することで、リビングダイニングが少しでも広くなるようプランニングしています。 屋外デッキは、高い塀で外部からの視線をカットすることでプライバシーを確保しているため、のんびりくつろぐことができます。 家の名前にもなった『COCKPIT』と呼ばれる操縦席のような部屋は、いったん入ると出たくなくなる、超コンパクト空間です。 リビングの一角に設けたスタディコーナー、コンパクトな家事動線などを工夫しました。

This whole-house renovation transformed an 80’s home into a masterpiece for this growing family. With entertaining, function and livability in the forefront we created an open modern space for them to enjoy for decades. Complete with a kitchen do-over incorporating current high-end products and layout as well as a sunroom and living room overlooking their backyard pool, this has become a great family space. They also enjoy their new spa-like Master Bathroom, an updated Formal and Service Powder Baths and Laundry Room. They were delighted with the finished product and enjoy their home to its fullest now.
