Capitalizing on soaring columns and arches, the Hughes team added a unique shaped pool with an original in-pool tile design, an elevated spa, flaming fire pots, a crowning pergola/cabana, water elements and a beautiful lit water wall entry. Professional space planning made it all possible within the limited oceanfront expanse. This Parisian influenced garden features a swimming pool, gas lanterns, trimmed hedges, and custom paving integrated with synthetic grass. Along the back of the pool, a nine foot tall focal wall showcases water curtains, glass mosaic tile, gas lanterns, and decorative pottery. Inside the covered patio, an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and multiple seating areas were added for entertaining.

The 25-by-15-foot reverse vanishing edge pool echoes the trapezoidal shape of the waterfeature and seat walls in the forecourt, while the leading-edge overflow reinforces the feminine curve of the seat walls introduced as one first experienced the home's front entry. The bold curve intentionally imparts a sensuous line to the otherwise masculine, angular framework.
