Request Free Quote This indoor lap swimming pool measures 8'0' x 75'0", and is outfitted with an automatic swimming pool safety cover. What really makes this pool unque is the perimeter recircuation system. The gutter, which is a commercial competition gutter simliar to olympic and collegiate-level swim meet pools, has three chambers that are gravity fed with pool surge. The lowest chamber has a pump that automatically returns the swimmer surge to the pool, which has the effect of maintaining quiescence for lap swimming. This will prevent splash back from the sides, as well as maintaining the fastest surface available. This space also features a 7'0" x 8'0" hot tub at deck level, to warm up the swimmers and to help them get their muscles loose after a strenuous workout. The pool and spa coping are Valder's Wisconsin Limestone. The pool pumps are both variable-speed, and the pool is heated partially by utilizing a geothermal system. This homeowner enlisted the architects help to co-create a backyard that was carefully designed after the style of Santa Fe, New Mexico-- his favorite place on Earth. So for the pool design, the backdrop walls have thickening masses to them reminiscing the style of Santa Fe. It was important to capture for the lines of the pool to point to the pinnacle mountain vista in the backdrop. The pool overflows as a water feature into their back yard, like a sunken courtyard. It creates a tranquil sound for their backyard living space.

View southward over the lower fourteen acres taken from the upper lawn show the terraced 2000 square foot custom pool. A ha-ha wall concept was utilized to separate the pool landscape from the pasture below where without would leave the plantings vulnerable to deer-browse.

This freeform flagstone pool has 3 oversized raised planters, raised round spa, and raised sun deck. It has sheer descents, a 6' diving board and the Turbo Twister slide. The decking is brushed concrete with acid stain finish. The material finishes on the pool include: faced flagstone and hand chiseled stacked flagstone on the raised areas, flagstone coping all in Wister, 6x6 ceramic tile waterline, Quartzscapes Quartz Tahoe Blue pool interior and acid stain brushed concrete with scored lines.
