In this project we remodeled the backyard and swimming pool into a relaxing privet resort. Including: a special travertine tiles on top of existing concrete (without demolition of existing concrete), pool and spa plastering, pool and spa tiles & coping, installing pool lightning, wall stucco & special outdoor lightning.

View southward over the lower fourteen acres taken from the upper lawn show the terraced 2000 square foot custom pool. A ha-ha wall concept was utilized to separate the pool landscape from the pasture below where without would leave the plantings vulnerable to deer-browse.

This project feaures a 18’0” x 35’0”, 4’0” to 5’0” deep swimming pool and a 7’0” x 9’0” hot tub. Both the pool and hot tub feature color-changing LED lights. The pool also features a set of full-end steps. Both the pool and hot tub coping are Valders Wisconsin Limestone. Both the pool and the hot tub are outfitted with automatic pool safety covers with custom stone lid systems. The pool and hot tub finish is Wet Edge Primera Stone Midnight Breeze.. The pool deck is mortar set Valders Wisconsin Limestone, and the pool deck retaining wall is a stone veneer with Valders Wisconsin coping. The masonry planters are also veneered in stone with Valders Wisconsin Limestone caps. This homeowner enlisted the architects help to co-create a backyard that was carefully designed after the style of Santa Fe, New Mexico-- his favorite place on Earth. So for the pool design, the backdrop walls have thickening masses to them reminiscing the style of Santa Fe. It was important to capture for the lines of the pool to point to the pinnacle mountain vista in the backdrop. The pool overflows as a water feature into their back yard, like a sunken courtyard. It creates a tranquil sound for their backyard living space.
