We like detail. Our island was fabricated by building a 2x4 stub wall and setting the cabinets against it. The stub wall contains all of our plumbing and electrical. when we put everything together, we were left with seams on the end corners. So, we added some vertical walnut pin stripes to match the walnut butcher block counter.
