Formal Parlour

A formal 'Parlour'. This room was kept more formal and Traditional at the Client's request, incorporating pre-selected pieces of furniture and artwork. Regency-style fireplace surround in limestone, with black granite fireplace adds is in keeping with the Regency-style seating and opulent upholstery. Picture rails and alcove allow for Traditional picture hangings and display cabinet. Wall sconces above the fireplace are another very Traditional touch. One of the darker rooms in the house, the colour scheme was kept light and cool enough to work with the natural light. Carpet is plush and light.
