This project is a customer case study of a family residing in San Francisco, United States. The family consists of three members and lives in a 75-square-meter house. The dining area of the customer's house is located near the windows and is adorned with many rustic-style furnishings such as tables, chairs, and wall decorations. The overall interior design style of the customer's home is Nordic modern, and they have been searching for a suitable lighting fixture for the dining area. Their requirement was to have a pendant light preferably made of durable metal. However, the female homeowner also had a strong preference for wood, while the male homeowner had concerns about wooden fixtures being prone to moisture and difficult to clean. Based on their needs, we recommended a pendant light that features an aluminum shade with a wood grain design. The main material of this pendant light is aluminum, which meets the requirement for a metal material, and the surface texture is crafted to resemble wood grain, aligning with the female homeowner's design concept.
