The beautiful movement in the quartzite countertop and the sheer quanitity of exposed edges, warranted special treatment. The perimeter of the kitchen had a bookmatched mitered front, while the island was chiseled to relate to the bar in the other room. Smart Touch faucets were installed to minimize the spread of bacteria. Now the homeowners can turn the water on by tapping the faucets anywhere with a wrist of forearm. Refinishing the cabinets in a cooler tone, allowed the greys to come out in the floor and let them be beautiful again... instead of being all the same color as they were before.
