Relaxing formal lounge painted in Resene warm soft grey, accented by sofas and ottoman re-upholstered in Warwick warm grey textured fabric. Textured wallpaper on the chimney wall adds depth and further texture to the space with central heating providing extra warmth to the large room with the gas fire. Curtains with storm grey striped herringbone pattern add further interest to the room. Styling in blues and teals with plush and geometric patterned textiles adds layers of luxe to the room with floating shelving displaying the occupants' glass collection. Lighting consists of brass suspension glass globes referencing the deco/nouveau era the home was build in. The room has French door access through to the dining area and inspiration for the accent colour used has been taken from the large beautiful abstract artwork in this room.
