The client reached out to us to create an open-concept space that extended from the kitchen to the dining area while adding a modern, classical elegance to the space. We removed the kitchen wall adjacent to the dining area to effectively capture views of the water. We then brought natural sunlight to all three sides by adding windows and skylights. Design elements include high-end finishes, painted and glazed wood cabinetry, wood-look porcelain tile floors, quartz stone counter-tops and stainless steel appliances. As a final touch, we introduced custom window seating for a bright and sunny breakfast nook.

This kitchen is full of colour and pattern clashes and we love it! This kitchen is full of tricks to make the most out of all the space. We have created a breakfast cupboard behind 2 pocket doors to give a sense of luxury to the space. A hidden extractor is a must for us at Studio Dean, and in this property it is hidden behind the peach wooden latting. Another feature of this space was the bench seat, added so the client could have their breakfasts in the morning in their new kitchen. We love how playful and fun this space in!

Stunning quartz countertops with waterfall overflow effect contrasts beautifully with the maple cabinetry and bold shiplap hood. The hood was custom designed by our Designer Janna and manufactured by our very own craftsmen at Sea Pointe Construction.

Who's ready for a cocktail? This Butler's Pantry was craving color! We gave it a luxe makeover with navy cabinetry, quartz countertops, and amazing dramatic wallpaper. The marble and brass cabinet knobs and brass accents finish the space.

Kitchen renovation were the client wanted to increase storage, countertop surface and create a better flow. We removed a partition wall to enlarge the kitchen and we incorporated all custom cabinetry, Silestone countertops and all new appliances. The black hood ties in the black accent cabinetry surrounding the kitchen.

There’s nothing quite like a cozy cottage to call home. Especially when you can get creative, renovating key spaces to balance modern convenience and vintage charm. We collaborated with the talented homeowners to bring their vision to life an the results speak for themselves. A gourmet kitchen fits seamlessly in the original home’s footprint and not one, but two thoughtfully re-designed bathrooms bring a slice of luxury and function to this sweet little home. The modern-meets-classic kitchen tiles started it all, setting the tone for the entire renovation. Gourmet appliances and custom cabinetry maximized function and storage and new lighting was a perfect finishing touch. We completely re-worked the home’s “master” bath (you should see the “before!”), adding a spacious frameless glass shower. In the basement, the new bathroom is every bit the retreat the homeowner dreamed of, with the freestanding composite tub, an enormous vanity and a hidden stackable washer and dryer. The decommissioned fireplace is oh-so decorative, showing off with new Ann Sacks marble mosaic tile. We were asked to help transform a cluttered, half-finished common area to an organized, multi-functional homework/play/lounge space for this family of six. They were so pleased with the desk setup for the kids, that we created a similar workspace for their office. In the midst of designing these living areas, they had a leak in their kitchen, so we jumped at the opportunity to give them a brand new one. This project was a true collaboration between owner and designer, as it was done completely remotely.
