We have completed a breathtaking project for some previous clients in their new-build home. This stunning kitchen and utility uses Mereway’s Q-Line range in ‘Pietra Ceramica’ and ‘Grafite Ceramica’. We matched the worktops using Laminam’s ‘Pietra di Savoia Antracite Bocciardata’ and ‘Pietra di Savoia Grigia Bocciardata’ to create a stunning, industrial finish. The ceramic itself has the most beautiful, dramatic and interesting finish due to its unique texture and colour. A key design feature was having the tall bank of units in the darker tone, and island in the lighter tone in order to create more contrast and highlight the beauty of the materials. Sleek, black plinths create a ‘floating’ illusion, adding interest to the overall space. Our design brief for this project was to create a contemporary, hybrid space that harmoniously balanced their day to day life with their social life. Plenty of storage space, a large island, drinks area and a matching utility were core factors of the brief with a primary focus on accessibility as one of our clients is a wheelchair user. Being able to have a kitchen to prepare meals in as a couple was an important factor in the overall design of the kitchen, which is why the recess in the kitchen island is a core feature. The kitchen table is a thing of beauty in itself, thoughtful design resulted in the table being adjoined to the island. The wood used by Spekva is a stunning feature that stands out so well on its own, and creates a natural warmth, so a simple design for the legs was paramount. Our focus here was on the attention to detail of the legs, which we had specially crafted in order to match the grip ledges of the tall bank of units. This element of the design was crucial to ensuring continuity between the island and table, yet give the design another dimension and another beautiful feature. Creating a drinks area adds to the social element of the brief. Therefore, on the opposite side of the island, we installed a bar area which includes a wine cooler and built-under fridge for soft drinks and beer. The utility room stays very much in the same direction, which is something we felt important as the utility room can be seen from the kitchen/dining area. Instead of fitting units in the luxurious ceramic, we opted to have units in a competitively priced concrete-effect laminate. This finish fits perfectly into the overall design and is extremely practical for a utility room. The space is kitted out with integrated laundry equipment, a sink and tap and additional storage.

Tiny 400 SF apartment condo designed to make the most of the space while maintaining openness, lightness, and efficiency. Keith met this couple from Hastings at Grand Designs who stumbled upon his talk on Creating Kitchens with Light Space & Laughter. A contemporary look was their wish for the new kitchen extension and had been disappointed with previous kitchen plan/designs suggested by other home & kitchen retailers. We made a few minor alterations to the architecture of their new extension by moving the position of the utility room door, stopped the kitchen island becoming a corridor and included a secret bookcase area which they love. We also created a link window into the lounge area that opened up the space and allowed the outdoor area to flow into the room with the use of reflected glass. The window was positioned opposite the kitchen island with cushioned seating to admire their newly landscaped garden and created a build-down above. The design comprises SieMatic Pure S2 collection in Sterling Grey, Miele appliances with 12mm Dekton worktops and 30mm Spekva Breakfast Bar on one corner of the Island for casual dining or perching.

Client was looking to create something timeless with a modern feel and fell for the Harborne from seeing it on display as their kitchen had a linear style that it suited perfectly. The large kitchen island was to create a homely feel.

L’îlot central On tourne dans cette cuisine autour d'une pièce maîtresse multifonction : l'îlot est plan de travail, espace de repas, zone de lavage et de cuisson. Entièrement sur-mesure, il est composé d'un châssis inox – notre signature – habillé de façades en chêne laqué noir, une finition subtile qui laisse voir le fil du bois. Un plan de travail en quartzite vient contraster ce volume sombre. L’électroménager L’électroménager haut de gamme est pensé avec soin : Une table de cuisson blanche afin de mettre en valeur la matière minérale, un large four de 90cm pour recevoir de grandes tablées, un évier qui se fait discret par ses accessoires (planche à découper et égouttoir), un mitigeur élégant. Un mural complète cet îlot en intégrant le froid (réfrigérateur, congélateur, cave à vin), ainsi qu'un complément de cuisson : four haute pression, salamandre et machine à café. Un tel équipement requiert une aspiration sans faille : un plafond filtrant a été réalisé sur mesure, tout en inox.

Propuesta y proyecto de diseño interior para la reforma de una vivienda ubicada en el barrio de San Lorenzo, en Madrid. El inmueble se encontraba bastante desactualizado previamente a la reforma, y aunque la vivienda tenía el programa de habitabilidad completo, distaba bastante de los gustos estéticos de la nueva propietaria. Se mantuvo la distribución, se renovaron las instalaciones de electricidad, iluminación y fontanería, se llevaron a cabo algunos cambios estéticos en las zonas comunes y dormitorios y se reformó de manera integral la cocina. Se trató de una reforma con un presupuesto algo limitado, pero gracias a las propuestas de diseño súper adaptadas al espacio y presupuesto, se consiguieron instalar soluciones de acabados de gama media-alta.
