A place where we gather to chat, drink wine, do homework, even cook sometimes ... a kitchen. Or, the core of a house - one place that is never avoided by any dweller. In this modern kitchen, with a farm house twist, I played with textures more than colors. White palette with grey tones are softened by green stools, a sisal rug and Turkish towels. Natural flowers are never a bad idea (daisies hit the spot for me this morning). Textured quartz on the island really made a difference in this space. It bonded the floor and counter top through these organic textures and wave-like ripples. A really interesting way to unify the hard and solid surfaces. The sheepskin completed the farm house look and maybe even gave it a Nordic feel. Welcome! Photography: Hale Production Studios

本計画は名古屋市の歴史ある閑静な住宅街にあるマンションのリノベーションのプロジェクトで、夫婦と子ども一人の3人家族のための住宅である。 設計時の要望は大きく２つあり、ダイニングとキッチンが豊かでゆとりある空間にしたいということと、物は基本的には表に見せたくないということであった。 インテリアの基本構成は床をオーク無垢材のフローリング、壁・天井は塗装仕上げとし、その壁の随所に床から天井までいっぱいのオーク無垢材の小幅板が現れる。LDKのある主室は黒いタイルの床に、壁・天井は寒水入りの漆喰塗り、出入口や家具扉のある長手一面をオーク無垢材が7m以上連続する壁とし、キッチン側の壁はワークトップに合わせて御影石としており、各面に異素材が対峙する。洗面室、浴室は壁床をモノトーンの磁器質タイルで統一し、ミニマルで洗練されたイメージとしている。

Hier fertigten wir eine sehr geräumige Küche mit Kücheninsel. Die Oberflächen sind aus einem anthrazitfarbendem Anti-Fingerprint Schichtstoff (Fenix). Durch die Pocket-Türen kann die Küche ihre Ansicht wechseln und zusätzlich Arbeitsfläche bieten, während sie im geschlossenen Zustand mit den anderen Fronten eine puristische Einheit bilden. Neben hochwertigen Geräten von Bora und Miele ist ebenfalls ein Quooker-Wasserhahn installiert. Eine dünne Arbeitsplatte aus Stein ist nicht nur optisch schön, sonern auch optimal zu pflegen.

As seen on the revisited edition of George Clarke's Restoration Man, screened on Channel 4 on the 12th of March. This was part of the stunning re-development of the Water Tower in Pannal, near Harrogate. The kitchen design is a U shape with a peninsular based around the main well which sits central to the kitchen. The well was cleaned out and lit up with a toughened piece of glass covering it, a real feature piece. The Brief Our client's brief? To create a contemporary yet timeless kitchen that maximises storage and workspaces while providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Furniture We opted for the minimalist, Pronorm Y-line Arctic White Lacquer & Stratus Grey Lacquer cabinets. The combination of white and grey hues adds depth and contrast to the space, while the lacquered finish enhances durability, making the space both functional and stylish. To complement the clean lines of the cabinetry, we selected a beautiful Artscut Bianco Mysterio Quartz countertop. The silky-smooth finish of the quartz surface provides an ideal workspace for meal prep and cooking, while its natural-looking veining adds depth and character to the kitchen. Appliances & Accessories We were keen to incorporate appliances and accessories that enhance the kitchen's efficiency without compromising its design. The Blanco sink, filter tap, and soap dispenser provide ensure functionality, while the Neff appliances and Bora hob add a touch of innovation and style. The Smoked Grey mirror splashback adds a subtle touch of glamour and reflects light throughout the kitchen, creating a bright and airy ambience. The Result The result is a beautiful, functional space which exceeded our client's expectations; the BCK Interiors team is proud to deliver another successful project that showcases our commitment to quality and creativity.

Buscaban una cocina austera, moderna y minimalista, para contrastar completamente con la cocina original, cargada en maderas oscuras y estilo rústico. Mantenemos la típica cocina en U, con máximo de funcionalidad, privilegiando armarios extraíbles, rincones accesibles y electrodomésticos integrados. Uno de los puntos originales ha sido la recuperación de la ventana de marco en madero, que conecta con el salón y deja entrar más luz. Para contrastar un poco el look tan moderno, hemos propuesto una encimera con un grosor más alto que el normal, que recupera los trazos rústicos de una casa de playa.
