This photo: For a couple's house in Paradise Valley, architect C.P. Drewett created a sleek modern kitchen with Caesarstone counters and tile backsplashes from Art Stone LLC. Porcelain-tile floors from Villagio Tile & Stone provide contrast to the dark-stained vertical-grain white-oak cabinetry fabricated by Reliance Custom Cabinets. Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. Oriented south, the spectacular interior natural light illuminates what promises to become another timeless piece of architecture for the Paradise Valley landscape. Modern Kitchen with Wood Accents. Flat panel wood cabinets and flat panel grey cabinets blended together with white marble counter and blacksplash. Round glass light pendants hang above contemporary kitchen island, white modern bar stools sit on wide plank light wood flooring.

Having the two island arrangement enabled us to create larger storage capacity and worktop area. Two cooks would have plenty of room to work together simultaneously without crossing paths.

We got to design this open space in a new construction building from scratch. We designed a space that worked with our client's busy family and social life. We created a space that they can comfortably entertain clients, friends, and grandkids.

Two door finishes:- Laminex Sublime Teak Two pack paint in 'White on White' Bench top - Corian 'Sorrel' with tile cove, 'Glacier White' and 'Glacier Ice' used to clad column with LEDs for evening effect. Corian double bowl sink - no joins. Photography by Tim Turner

The main wall holds a large one-and-a-half, stainless steel, under-mounted sink with a glass back splashback. Above, a discrete hanging rail places utensils within easy reach and, either side, two bulthaup b3 Function Boxes offer even greater convenience - a knife rack, chopping block and double sockets.

Diese Küche ist zwar noch im Werden, aber der minimalistische Stil ist bereits gut zu erkennen. Eine Mattweiße Küche mit klaren Linien. Die Betondecke und der Sichtestrisch, ebenfalss in Betongrau wirken minimalistisch, fast sogar kühl, in gelungenem Kontrast hierzu steht der große Tisch aus Eiche Massivholz sowie die ausgefallene Designertapete.
