This family of four love to entertain and having friends and family over. Their 1970 Rambler was getting cramped after their two daughters moved back and that was their cry for help. They also wanted to have two door garages added into their home. They had a very modern theme in mind for both exterior and interior of their project. The project started as excavating and clearing 7-9 feet of dirt allowing the driveway and new garage space. All utilities were relocated to clear area. Above this new garage space, there was the home for brand new dream kitchen for them. Trading their 10’x7′ galley kitchen with this 13’x30′ gourmet kitchen with 48″ stark blue professional gas range, a 5’x14′ center island equipped with prep sink, wine cooler, ice maker, microwave and lots of storage space. Front and back windows, 13′ cathedral ceiling offers lots of daylight and sparks up this beautiful kitchen. Tall Espresso cabinetry complimented with contrasting island, and breathtaking stone counter tops stands off through large opening from old home to new kitchen. The big load bearing wall and old kitchen was removed and opened up old home to new kitchen, all partition walls between kitchen, dining and living room were gone and given a total open floor plan. Replacing old carpet steps and wood rails with dark wood and cable yarn railing system bringing this home into new era. Entire first floor was now covered with wide plank exotic wood floors and a large scale porcelain tiles in kitchen floor. The entire exterior was replaced with cement board red planks siding and contrasting flat panel of grey boards bordered in with chrome trim. New front door, new Architectural shingles spruced up into 21st century home that they desired. A wide flat Mahogany with vertical glass garage doors with very modern looking exterior lights made this home stand tall in this neighborhood. We used glass backsplash tiles and pendent lights to create a upscale and very different look for this project. Furnished with ductless heating system and heated floors giving this family high level of comfort to through endless parties.

A unique and innovative design, combining the requirements of regular entertainers with busy family lives looking for style and drama in what was a compact space. The redesigned kitchen has space for sit-down meals, work zones for laptops on the large table, and encourages an open atmosphere allowing of lively conversation during food prep, meal times or when friends drop by. The new concept creates space by not only opening up the initial floor plan, but through the creative use of a two-tiered island benchtop, a stylish solution that further sets this kitchen apart. The upper work bench is crafted from Quantum Quartz Gris Fuma stone, utilizing man made stone’s practicality and durability, while the lower custom designed timber table showcases the beauty of Natural Calacatta Honed Marble.

A modern take on the classic black and white kitchen floor, these beautiful tiles from Artisans of Devizes are laid over a very clever electric underfloor heating system from Vario-Pro to keep heat under feet.

After finding their forever home, our clients came to us wanting a real showstopper kitchen that was open plan and perfect for their family and friends to socialise together in. They chose to go dark for a wow-factor finish, and we used the Nobilia Easy-touch in Graphite Black teamed with 350 stainless steel bar handles and a contrasting Vanilla concrete worktop supplied by our friends at Algarve granite. The kitchen was finished with staple appliances from Siemens, Blanco, Caple and Quooker, some of which featured in their matching utility.

The entire CRISTAL range forms part of a solution with structural lines, allowing for a clean, linear design. The various compositions are enriched with HANEX work tops. The result of a sophisticated production process, which merges the quality of the acrylic resin and the rock minerals. It is perfectly stable, extremely hard, smooth and resistant to high temperatures. It ensures high levels of hygiene, making it ideal upon contact with food. Voici une cuisine laquée noir mat avec un îlot blanc. Une belle cuisine qui se distingue par son élégance sans négliger tous les aspects pratiques d’une pièce de vie. La pièce se veut moderne et lumineuse avec de grands espaces de rangements et d’imposantes géométries. Les crédences blanches sont assorties à " l’îlot" en L qui vient épouser les hautes colonnes de meubles noirs. La lumière est très présente grâce à l’ensemble des Leds encastrées sous les meubles hauts, et grâce aux luminaires vintage suspendus. Tout est pris en compte dans la conception d’intérieur pour réaliser une cuisine agréable, fonctionnelle et unique. L’épi (presqu’ile) est composé de meuble blancs et d’un plan en céramique blanche soutenu par un meuble déco en bois vintage. Cette composition, comme un trompe l’œil, ajoute une note d’élégance et de légèreté à la cuisine. Ce meuble de cuisine sur mesure semble flotter au milieu de la pièce comme un îlot central.
