This fun kitchen is a perfect fit for its’ owners! As a returning client we knew this space would be a pleasure to complete, having previously updated their main bath. The variegated blue picket tiles add bold colour the homeowners craved, while the slab doors in a natural maple with matte black finishes and soft white quartz countertops offer a warm modern backdrop. Filled with personality, this vibrant new kitchen inspires their love of cooking. The small footprint required creative planning to make the most efficient use of space while still including an open shelf section to allow for display and an open feel. The addition of a second sink was a game changer, allowing both sides of the room to function optimally. This kitchen was the perfect finishing touch for their home!

The light fixture is from Roll and Hill. The floor is custom cork and the chimney behind the kitchen hood is Fireclay tile glazed brick. The dishwasher and refrigerator are Miele. Kitchen has solid stone backsplash, stainless steel upper cabinet doors, light gray wood base cabinets, Miele appliances, an oversized 48 inch "the Galley Sink" with movable work surfaces, Caesarstone Calacatta Nuovo counters, walnut wood floating counter, and hidden downdraft cooktop. Total layout change as the living room, kitchen and dining room were all 3 separate rooms. We knocked down all the walls to make it an open floor plan that flows and connects all 3 spaces. We also extended the kitchen and deck out further to make it even bigger. Adde the large slider doors and windows in the living room to keep it open and connected with the outdoor space and so you could see the gorgeous view of the lake they live on. Added a pantry, and swapped the laundry and half bath to make it more convenient for both both indoor use and for easy access from the exterior when guests are over!

The dramatic open and airy kitchen remodel revealed just how much potential lied within this home. The sleek white cabinet design is much fresher than the former wood material in this kitchen and make it feel twice as big. The polished quartz countertops and backsplash perfectly complement the apron sink and new appliances, while the adorable pair of 10-lite doors scream, welcome home.

Most people would relate to the typical floor plan of a 1980's Brick Veneer home. Disconnected living spaces with closed off rooms, the original layout comprised of a u shaped kitchen with an archway leading to the adjoining dining area that hooked around to a living room behind the kitchen wall. The client had put a lot of thought into their requirements for the renovation, knowing building works would be involved. After seeing Ultimate Kitchens and Bathrooms projects feature in various magazines, they approached us confidently, knowing we would be able to manage this scale of work alongside their new dream kitchen. Our designer, Beata Brzozowska worked closely with the client to gauge their ideals. The space was transformed with the archway wall between the being replaced by a beam to open up the run of the space to allow for a galley style kitchen. An idealistic walk in pantry was then cleverly incorporated to the design, where all storage needs could be concealed behind sliding doors. This gave scope for the bench top to be clutter free leading out to an alfresco space via bi-fold bay windows which acted as a servery. An island bench at the living end side creates a great area for children to sit engaged in their homework or for another servery area to the interior zone.
