Die Kunst bei der Gestaltung dieser Küche war die Trapezform bei der Gestaltung der neuen Küche mit großem Sitzplatz Sinnvoll zu nutzen. Alle Unterschränke wurden in weißem Mattlack ausgeführt und die lange Zeile beginnt links mit einer Tiefe von 70cm und endet rechts mit 40cm. Die Kochinsel hat ebenfalls eine Trapezform. Oberschränke und Hochschränke wurden in Altholz ausgeführt.

Ultramodern German Kitchen in Findon Valley, West Sussex Our contracts team make the most of a wonderful open plan space with an ultramodern kitchen design & theme. The Brief For this kitchen project in Findon Valley a truly unique design was required. With this property recently extensively renovated, a vast ground floor space required a minimalist kitchen theme to suit the style of this client. A key desirable was a link between the outdoors and the kitchen space, completely level flooring in this room meant that when bi-fold doors were peeled back the kitchen could function as an extension of this sunny garden. Throughout, personal inclusions and elements have been incorporated to suit this client. Design Elements To achieve the brief of this project designer Sarah from our contracts team conjured a design that utilised a huge bank of units across the back wall of this space. This provided the client with vast storage and also meant no wall units had to be used at the client’s request. Further storage, seating and space for appliances is provided across a huge 4.6-meter island. To suit the open plan style of this project, contemporary German furniture has been used from premium supplier Nobilia. The chosen finish of Slate Grey compliments modern accents used elsewhere in the property, with a dark handleless rail also contributing to the theme. Special Inclusions An important element was a minimalist and uncluttered feel throughout. To achieve this plentiful storage and custom pull-out platforms for small appliances have been utilised to minimise worktop clutter. A key part of this design was also the high-performance appliances specified. Within furniture a Neff combination microwave, Neff compact steam oven and two Neff Slide & Hide ovens feature, in addition to two warming drawers beneath ovens. Across the island space, a Bora Pure venting hob is used to remove the need for an overhead extractor – with a Quooker boiling tap also fitted. Project Highlight The undoubtable highlight of this project is the 4.6 metre island – fabricated with seamless Corian work surfaces in an Arrow Root finish. On each end of the island a waterfall edge has been included, with seating and ambient lighting nice additions to this space. The End Result The result of this project is a wonderful open plan kitchen design that incorporates several great features that have been personalised to suit this client’s brief. Our clients were seeking a classic and stylish Shaker kitchen with a contemporary edge, to complement the architecture of their five-year-old house, which features a modern beamed ceiling and herringbone flooring. They also wanted a kitchen island to include banquette seating surrounding one end of a large industrial-style dining table with an Ash wooden table top that our clients already owned. We designed the main run of in frame cabinetry with a classic cornice to completely fit within the recessed space along the back wall behind the island, which is hand-painted in Stewkey Blue by Farrow & Ball. This includes a central inglenook and an overmantel that conceals a Siemens canopy extractor hood above a white Everhot range cooker. Overhead cabinets and undercounter storage cupboards were included within the design, together with oak dovetailed deep drawer storage boxes. A Samsung American-style fridge freezer was also integrated within the run. A 30mm thick quartz worktop in Tuscany colourway extends on either side of the range cooker and this is repeated on the kitchen island as well, with an overhang on both sides of the u-shaped design to accommodate bar stools beneath. In the centre of the island, we created u-shaped banquette seating upholstered in grey velvet to surround one end of the large rectangular dining table. To store their collection of fine wines, we specified two undercounter wine conditioners by Miele to fit within each end of the island to store reds, whites and Champagnes. Along the length of the island, facing the Everhot is a large ceramic double-bowl Belfast sink by Shaws of Darwen and a Quooker Cube tap, providing hot, cold, boiling and sparkling water. On the task side of the island, two 60cm dishwashers by Miele are integrated at either end of the cabinetry together with storage for pull-out bins and utility items. On a further run to the left of the island, we designed and made a large Shaker two-door pantry larder, hand-painted in All White by Farrow & Ball and featuring deep dovetail drawer boxes beneath. Extending on either side of the pantry is natural oak contemporary open shelving to mix with the traditional design of the kitchen. A further freestanding cabinet with a natural solid oak top was handmade to sit beneath the client’s wall-mounted television. Cup handles and knobs are all brushed brass by Crofts and Assinder, with matching brass butt hinges.

As keen cooks, the couple requested that the cooking and sink zones be separated so several people can use the kitchen without disrupting each other. The island and sink run have bulthaup b3 laminate worktops and a Quooker Cube that provides, boiling, filtered and sparkling water in one tap.

En esta ocasión tenemos un nuevo proyecto de Cafran Cocinas que esperamos os guste tanto como a nosotros. Se trata de una cocina de concepto abierto que comparte espacio único con el comedor y el salón. Destacamos la impresionante península en Silestone Blanco Zeus que alberga mucho espacio de almacenaje así como una barra con capacidad de hasta cuatro comensales. El mobiliario que se ha seleccionado es el modelo Ak_Project de nuestro fabricante Arrital en el acabado Tecnolux blanco brillo con uñero en el modelo canto "Step". Este modelo además de ser uno de los más competitivos respecto a su calidad/precio, tiene un mantenimiento muy sencillo y proporciona mucha luminosidad a la estancia. Esto junto con la combinación de electrodomésticos de la marca Neff consiguen que la cocina esté espectacularmente equipada y a la vez sea muy práctica. El fregadero de Shock modelo Greenwich N-100 bajo encimera en color negro junto con el grifo de Franke a juego dan un toque muy interesante creando contrastes sobre la encimera.

The Brief The brief for this Shoreham Beach client left our Contract Kitchen team challenged to create a design and layout to make the most of beautiful sea views and a large open plan living space. The client specified a minimalist theme which would complement the coastal surroundings and modern decor utilised for other areas in the property. Design Elements The shape of this newly built area meant a single wall of units was favourable, with a 4.3 metre island running adjacent to the long run of full-height cabinetry. To add separation to this long run, a desired drink and food-prep area has been placed close to the Juliette balcony. The single wall layout contributes to the minimal feel of this space, chosen in a Alpine White finish with discrete integrated handleware for the same reason. The chosen furniture is from German manufacturer Nobilia’s Lux collection, an extremely durable gloss kitchen option. A high-gloss furniture finish has been chosen to reflect light around this large space, but also to compliment chrome accents elsewhere in the property. Special Inclusions Durable Corian work surfaces have been used throughout the kitchen, but most impressively upon the island where no visible joins can be seen along the entire 4.3 metres. A seamless waterfall edge on the island and dual sinks also make use of the Grey Onyx Corian surface. An array of high-specification Neff cooking and refrigeration appliances have been utilised, concealed behind cabinetry where possible. Another exciting inclusion is the BORA Pure induction venting hob, placed upon the island close to the Quooker boiling water tap also specified. To add luxurious flashes to this room, a multitude of lighting options have been incorporated, including integrated plinth and undercabinet lighting. Project Highlight In addition to the kitchen, a built-in TV and storage area was required. This part of the room is a fantastic highlight that makes use of handleless stone-effect furniture from Nobilia’s Riva range. To sit atop of cabinetry and the benched seating area Stellar Grey Silestone workstops have been incorporated. The End Result The outcome of this project is a fantastic open plan kitchen area that delivers upon all elements of this client’s brief. Our Contract Kitchen team have delivered a wonderful design to capture the minimalist theme required by the client. This project was one of my favourites to date. The client had given me complete freedom to design a featured kitchen that was big on functionality, practicality and entertainment as much as it was big in design. The mixture of dark timber grain, high-end appliances, LED lighting and minimalistic lines all came together in this stunning, show-stopping kitchen. As you make your way from the front door to the kitchen, it appears before you like a marble masterpiece. The client's had chosen this beautiful natural Italian marble, so maximum use of the marble was the centrepiece of this project. Once I received the pictures of the selected slabs, I had the idea of using the featured butterfly join as the splashback. I was able to work with the 3D team to show how this will look upon completion, and the results speak for themselves. The 3Ds had made the decisions much clearer and gave the clients confidence in the finishes and design. Every project must not only be aesthetically beautiful but should always be practical and functional for the day to day grind... this one has it all!
