Talk about MAN CAVE! We finished this basement in Olathe and were finally able to go by there and grab some completion pictures. If there is a big game on, and you can't reach us? We are likely in this basement. A few details? 145" diagonal HD projection TV with custom 7:1 surround sound, full wet-bar (with another TV), full bathroom and a play room.

Home was built by Old Town Design Group. We pre-wired this whole home. After the home was finished, we mounted this TV above the bar area.

Home Bar/Entertainment Area. Architectural feature includes vaulted, arched wood ceiling that accentuates the bar area. Bar stools swivel adding comfort and ease of use for friends and relatives. Upholstered in treated leather on the seat and inside backs, they offer easy maintenance while contrast fabric backs provide smart style.

A beautiful basement bar remodel. The use of contrast between Marsh's "Espresso" stain against the gorgeous grey tones in the "Omicron Silver" countertop and back splash tile create a clean and crisp look. This space used to be the existing kitchen. We were able to rearrange the cabinets and add in some new cabinets to create this bar. The front of the curved bar is copper with a patina technique. Two colors of concrete countertops were used for the bar area to pick up on the color of the stacked stone veneer we used as the backsplash. The floating shelves have LED lighting underneath. The lower level contains the couple's wine cellar, as well as a fully equipped bar where they can savor wine tastings, cocktail parties and delicious meals while enjoying quality time with family and friends. The existing concrete floors were sprayed a rust color adored by the Lady of the House, and served as the color inspiration for the rust/orange swivel chairs in the TV viewing area. Two dramatic floor lamps flank a console table and divide the TV viewing zone from the nearby pool table. I can't wait to see my client again soon, not only to put the finishing touches on their home's transformation, but to break bread and share a cocktail, as we have become close during the past 21 months with our many flights to and from Chicago to Minneapolis.
