Christine Lefebvre Design’s goal for this bathroom redesign was to create an elegant, streamlined, and hardworking space that would feel as though it had always existed in the home. Design services included two-dimensional design drawings (floor plans and elevations); material and fixture selection including lighting, plumbing, vanity, countertop, flooring, hardware, tile, and paint; tile installation design; and budgeting. This 55-square-foot space received a gut renovation, though locations of the plumbing fixtures and walls were left unchanged. A door that had previously separated the shower/toilet area from the vanity was removed, and the doorway was opened to the ceiling, to create better flow through the space and to make the room seem larger and more welcoming. Christine Lefebvre Design designed the tile layout with a mix of field tile sizes. Our installation incorporated tile accessories (robe hooks, towel bar ends, and switch plate cover), base moldings, and radius trim for a completely custom tile installation. Radius trim and specialty tile pieces also played their part in the design of a seamless shower niche. Multiple handrails were specified for the shower/toilet area to make the space more accessible. A TRAX shower rod was mounted to the ceiling, with custom liner and shower curtain made to reach from ceiling to floor. Christine Lefebvre Design changed the sink faucet from a standard deck-mount to a wall-mount, and incorporated it into an extra-high granite backsplash. This was done for aesthetic reasons and to help the homeowners keep clean the heavily-used sink. Granite for the countertop was fabricated from a remnant sourced from a local stoneyard. All plumbing fixtures are Kohler. The new flooring is gauged slate.

A clean white modern classic style bathroom with wall to wall floating stone bench top. Thick limestone bench tops with light beige tones and textured features. Wall hung vanity cabinets with all doors, drawers and dress panels made from solid surface. Subtle detailed anodised aluminium u channel around windows and doors.

This basement renovation received a major facelift and now it’s everyone’s favorite spot in the house! There is now a theater room, exercise space, and high-end bathroom with Art Deco tropical details throughout. A custom sectional can turn into a full bed when the ottomans are nestled into the corner, the custom wall of mirrors in the exercise room gives a grand appeal, while the bathroom in itself is a spa retreat.

Relaxing Bathroom in Horsham, West Sussex Marble tiling, contemporary furniture choices and ambient lighting create a spa-like bathroom space for this Horsham client. The Brief Our Horsham-based bathroom designer Martin was tasked with creating a new layout as well as implementing a relaxing and spa-like feel in this Horsham bathroom. Within the compact space, Martin had to incorporate plenty of storage and some nice features to make the room feel inviting, but not cluttered in any way. It was clear a unique layout and design were required to achieve all elements of this brief. Design Elements A unique design is exactly what Martin has conjured for this client. The most impressive part of the design is the storage and mirror area at the rear of the room. A clever combination of Graphite Grey Mereway furniture has been used above the ledge area to provide this client with hidden away storage, a large mirror area and a space to store some bathing essentials. This area also conceals some of the ambient, spa-like features within this room. A concealed cistern is fitted behind white marble tiles, whilst a niche adds further storage for bathing items. Discrete downlights are fitted above the mirror and within the tiled niche area to create a nice ambience to the room. Special Inclusions A larger bath was a key requirement of the brief, and so Martin has incorporated a large designer-style bath ideal for relaxing. Around the bath area are plenty of places for decorative items. Opposite, a smaller wall-hung unit provides additional storage and is also equipped with an integrated sink, in the same Graphite Grey finish. Project Highlight The numerous decorative areas are a great highlight of this project. Each add to the relaxing ambience of this bathroom and provide a place to store decorative items that contribute to the spa-like feel. They also highlight the great thought that has gone into the design of this space. The End Result The result is a bathroom that delivers upon all the requirements of this client’s brief and more. This project is also a great example of what can be achieved within a compact bathroom space, and what can be achieved with a well-thought-out design. A European modern interpretation to a standard 8'x5' bathroom with a touch of mid-century color scheme for warmth. large format porcelain tile (72x30) was used both for the walls and for the floor. A 3D tile was used for the center wall for accent / focal point. Wall mounted toilet were used to save space.

The modern bathroom design consists of grey ceramic square wall tiles paired with black herringbone floor tiles and matt black fittings.
