A MOROCCAN INSPIRED KITCHEN The kitchen was inspired by the rich Moroccan blue back splash tile Homeowners’ request: A contemporary Moroccan flair kitchen using royal blue, modern appliances ,an island for entertaining, and loads of storage. I wanted to to create a feature wall displaying Laila’s & Mahar’s colorful and vibrant characters The royal blue Moroccan tile was the starting point, we decided to keep the cabinets white for a classic look and then layer in a rich royal blue for accent colors that grounds all the elements together. Some of our most successful spaces are the smallest and most functional - this peek-a-boo look into the mudroom serves so many practical purposes - access to the side/ back yard, laundry, drop zone for shoes and backpacks, and a ton of pantry space. The arched entry picks up on a detail that had been removed when we took some of the walls down and maintains the character of the original design.

Bespoke Hand painted and Oak kitchen, painted in Dulux S4005B80G with stainless steel plinths and iron knobs. The worktops are Granite Piracema (satinato), and beautifully compliment the glass splash back. An inbuilt larder wall unit includes a mesh panel as a unique way to display the items inside.
