The brief for this project involved a full house renovation, and extension to reconfigure the ground floor layout. To maximise the untapped potential and make the most out of the existing space for a busy family home. When we spoke with the homeowner about their project, it was clear that for them, this wasn’t just about a renovation or extension. It was about creating a home that really worked for them and their lifestyle. We built in plenty of storage, a large dining area so they could entertain family and friends easily. And instead of treating each space as a box with no connections between them, we designed a space to create a seamless flow throughout. A complete refurbishment and interior design project, for this bold and brave colourful client. The kitchen was designed and all finishes were specified to create a warm modern take on a classic kitchen. Layered lighting was used in all the rooms to create a moody atmosphere. We designed fitted seating in the dining area and bespoke joinery to complete the look. We created a light filled dining space extension full of personality, with black glazing to connect to the garden and outdoor living.

This project was colourful, had a mix of styles of furniture and created an eclectic space. All of the furniture used was already owned by the client, but I gave them a new lease of life through changing the fabrics. This was a great way to make the space extra special, whilst keeping the price to a minimum.

The brief - Simply to create a modern contemporary open living and dining space fit for a young, but growing family. A modern geometric treatment was chosen perfectly to suit. Soft taupe grey raised print metallic wallpaper creates a gentle but statement feature finish. The pastel pink velvet accent chair adds a little luxury and a quiet area for reading. Earthy chunky wooden flooring brings outdoor texture in, practicality and is balanced with a light grey cool paint. The wood burner is a cosy addition and great example of how they work well in an alternative room scheme to traditional country. A large comfy corner grey sofa caters for all the family, whilst adding warmth. Styled with lot’s of geometric elements and accessories to finish off the treatment. The bright living space with large Crittal patio doors, parquet floor and pink highlights make the room a warm and inviting one. タワーマンションですがあえてモダンではなく、優しい雰囲気のコーディネートにしました。お打ち合わせ途中で、ピアノを購入されるとお聞きし、キュリオケースをピアノのお色に合わせて選ばせていただきました。 ピアノをインテリアに生かすのは少し工夫が要ります。

The homeowner had previously updated their mid-century home to match their Prairie-style preferences - completing the Kitchen, Living and Dining Rooms. This project included a complete redesign of the Bedroom wing, including Master Bedroom Suite, guest Bedrooms, and 3 Baths; as well as the Office/Den and Dining Room, all to meld the mid-century exterior with expansive windows and a new Prairie-influenced interior.
