Photographer Derrick Godson Clients brief was to create a modern stylish games room using a predominantly grey colour scheme. I designed a bespoke feature wall for the games room. I created an abstract panelled wall in a contrasting grey colour to add interest and depth to the space. I then specified a pool table with grey felt to enhance the interior scheme. Contemporary lighting was added. Other items included herringbone floor, made to order interior door with circular detailing and remote controlled custom blinds. The herringbone floor and statement lighting give this home a modern edge, whilst its use of neutral colours ensures it is inviting and timeless.

This casual family great room needed some updating. Beautiful new hardwood floors replace wall to wall carpeting, and a new wool area rug anchors the space. Custom window seat cushions, pillows, and window treatments add color, softness and charm to the space. The Carriage House Family Room in the 2015 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts is a midcentury modern space that allows for all different ages to partake in all different activities!

This Dallas home originally built in 1958 had a one car garage that was filling up! The homeowners desired to turn that garage into living space for their family and build a new garage on their lot that would give them the storage and car protection. We came up with a plan and found materials that matched their home and the new structure looks as if it was original to the home. We built a new 2 car garage with plenty of space for extra storage and large attic above. A separate door entrance makes for easy entry to the new garage. A large timber bar that runs down the length of the outside wall is perfect for entertaining large groups of guests. We then renovated the old garage and turned it into an awesome living room. It features hardwood floors, large windows and French doors to the patio with an additional door to the driveway. We used reclaimed brick to fill in the outside of the home where the previous garage door was for an exact match! Our clients are thrilled with how this new garage and new living room enhance their home! Room Redefined is a full-service home organization and design consultation firm. We offer move management to help with all stages of move prep to post-move set-up. In this case, once we moved the homeowners into their beautiful custom home, we worked intimately with them to understand how they needed each space to function, and to customize solutions that met their goals. As a part of our process, we helped with sorting and purging of items they did not want in their new home, selling, donating, or recycling the removed items. We then engaged in space planning, product selection and product purchasing. We handled all installation of the products we recommended, and continue to work with this family today to help maintain their space as they go through transitions as a family. We have been honored to work with additional members of their family and now their mountain home in Frisco, Colorado.
