The stacked stone wall and built-in fireplace is the focal point within this space. We love the built-in cabinets for storage and neutral color pallet as well. We certainly want to cuddle on the couch with a good book while the fireplace is burning!

This project was a one room makeover challenge where the sofa and recliner were existing in the space already and we had to configure and work around the existing furniture. For the design of this space I wanted for the space to feel colorful and modern while still being able to maintain a level of comfort and welcomeness.

The sunrise view over Lake Skegemog steals the show in this classic 3963 sq. ft. craftsman home. This Up North Retreat was built with great attention to detail and superior craftsmanship. The expansive entry with floor to ceiling windows and beautiful vaulted 28 ft ceiling frame a spectacular lake view. This well-appointed home features hickory floors, custom built-in mudroom bench, pantry, and master closet, along with lake views from each bedroom suite and living area provides for a perfect get-away with space to accommodate guests. The elegant custom kitchen design by Nowak Cabinets features quartz counter tops, premium appliances, and an impressive island fit for entertaining. Hand crafted loft barn door, artfully designed ridge beam, vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, barn beam mantle and custom metal worked railing blend seamlessly with the clients carefully chosen furnishings and lighting fixtures to create a graceful lakeside charm.

Главной фишкой данного помещения является 3D-панель за телевизором, с вырезанными в темном дереве силуэтами веток. Сбоку от дивана стена выполнена из декоративной штукатурки, которая реверсом повторяет орнамент центрального акцента помещения. Напротив телевизора выделено много места под журнальный столик, выполненный из теплого дерева и просторный диван изумрудного цвета. Изначально у дивана подразумевалось сделать большой ковер, но из-за большого количества проб, подбор ковра затянулся на большой срок. Однако привезенный дизайнером ковер для фотосъемки настолько вписался в общую картину именно за счет своей текстуры, что было желание непременно оставить такой необычный элемент. Сама комната сочетает яркие и бежевые тона, однако зона кабинета отделена цветовым решением, она в более темных деревянных текстурах. Насыщенный коричневый оттенок пола и потолка отделяет контрастом данную зону и соответствует вкусам хозяина. Рабочее место отгородили прозрачным резным стеллажом. А в дополнение напротив письменного стола стоит еще один стеллаж индивидуального исполнения из глубокого темного дерева, в котором много секций под документы и книги. Зону над компьютером хорошо освещает подвесной светильник, который, как и почти все освещение в доме, соответствует современному стилю.

You know by now we love designing in Bend, and Caldera Springs just feels like home! This project, (a collaboration with Olsen Bros. Construction and Heidi Byrnes Design) is the “forever home” for a couple relocating from Lake Oswego. Soaring wood ceilings, open living spaces and ample bedroom suites informed the client’s classic/modern finish choices. The furnishings aesthetic began with fabric to inspire pattern and color, and the story for each room unfolded from there. The great room is dressed in deep green, rust and cream, reflecting the natural palette outside every door and window. A pair of plush sofas large enough to nap on, swivel chairs to take in the view, and unique leather ottomans to tuck in where needed, invite lounging and conversation. The primary and back guest suites offer the most incredible window seats for cozying up with your favorite book. Layered with custom cushions and a pile of pillows, they’re the best seat in the house. Exciting wallpaper selections for each bathroom provided playful focal walls, from the deep green vinyl grass cloth in the primary bath, to a forest of sparkling tree lines in the powder bath. Amazing how wallpaper can define the personality of a space! This home is full of color, yet minimal in the “extras” and easy to maintain. It’s always refreshing for us to return to a home we dressed months ago and have it look just like we left it! We know it will provide a warm welcome for the owners and their guests for years to come! Photography by Chris Murray Productions

This main room became the game room, as this home will serve to entertain guests as well as the family. A built in bar in the walkway beyond, it's the perfect place for a pool table, dart board and a large TV. A quad of swivel chairs can focus on conversation, the TV, the fireplace or game watching. A custom game table was commissioned from re-claimed barnwood, as well as a bar rail for placing drinks on when playing pool. The dart board was made custom with the family's name, and is enclosed in a handmade cabinet that serves as piece of art. The sideboard was purchased to hold board games and the coffee table has hidden drawer storage for cards and remotes.
