The Living Room also received new white-oak hardwood flooring. We re-finished the existing built-in cabinets in a darker, richer stain to ground the space. The sofas from Italy are upholstered in leather and a linen-cotton blend, the coffee table from LA is topped with a unique green marble slab, and for the corner table, we designed a custom-made walnut waterfall table with a local craftsman.

This sophisticated yet ultra-feminine condominium in one of the oldest and most prestigious neighborhoods in San Francisco was decorated with entertaining in mind. The all-white upholstery, walls, and carpets are surprisingly durable with materials made to suit the lifestyle of a Tech boss lady. Custom artwork and thoughtful accessories complete the look.

For this condo renovation, Pineapple House handled the decor and all the interior architecture. This included designing every wall and ceiling -- beams, coffers, drapery pockets -- and determining all floor and tile patterns. Pineapple House included energy efficient lighting, as well as integrated linear heating and air vents. This view shows the new single room that resulted after designers removed the sliding glass doors and wall to the home's shallow porch. This is a 1921 Gem in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, that we Feng Shui'ed. It recently sold, and we are so pleased to see how gorgeous it looks! Photos by "Shooting LA".

Natural light enters from three sides of this elegant living room, creating a lovely, even illumination during the day. At night the lighted tray ceiling takes over. A Sputnik fixture is given a traditional twist with faceted shades.

The centerpiece of the house, into which the new entry leads, and off of which all other entertaining rooms connect, is the Mad-Men-inspired living room, with hideaway bar closet, sassy pop-of-color chairs in sumptuous tangerine velvet, plenty of seating for guests, prominent displays of modern art, and a grand piano upon which to play music of course, as well as against which to lean fabulously, resting one’s elbow, with a drink in one’s other hand.
