High ceilings make this space feel large and with the addition of this intricate linear ceiling design, this space appears even more grand. The double sofa with coordinating arm chairs fill the space and offer plenty of seating. Two large cocktail tables anchor the space giving it a balanced feel. This stunning new build captured the ambience and history of Traditional Irish Living by integrating authentic antique fixtures, furnishings and mirrors that had once graced local heritage properties. It is punctuated by a stunning hand carved marble fireplace (Circa. 1700's) redeemed from a nearby historic home. Altogether the soothing honey, cream and caramel tones this elegantly furnished space create an atmosphere of calm serenity.

Our clients had just arrived from the UK and wanted to give their home a unique feel. The first item they discussed with us was some type of a room divider which did not block the rooms totally and should house a TV which could be flexible to watch from different zones of the space and a see through fireplace ... We listen, we designed, we commissioned and this is the result. The owners love it and so do so many of you fellow Houzzers!,

Un arredamento Classico Contemporaneo è stata la scelta di stile di un Progetto d’Interni di un Attico a Perugia in occasione del quale si è creata una sfida sul Design molto stimolante. Quando ho conosciuto la committenza la richiesta è stata forte e chiara: vorremmo una casa in stile classico! Parlavamo di un splendido attico in un condominio di pregio degli anni ’80 che avremmo ristrutturato completamente, perciò la mia prima preoccupazione è stata quella di riuscire a rispettare i desideri estetici dei nuovi proprietari, ma tenendo conto di due aspetti importanti: ok il classico, ma siamo in un condominio moderno e siamo nel 2015! Ecco che in questa Ristrutturazione e Progetto di Arredamento d’Interni è nato lo sforzo di trovare un compromesso stilistico che restituisse come risultato una casa dalle atmosfere e dai sapori di un eleganza classica, ma che allo stesso tempo avesse una freschezza formale moderna, e contemporanea, una casa che raccontasse qualcosa dei nostri tempi, e non dei tempi passati.

Beautiful transformation from a traditional style to a beautiful sleek warm environment. This luxury space is created by Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry in a Vanguard Plus Matte Classic Walnut. The interior drawer inserts are walnut. The back lit surrounds around the ovens and windows is LED backlit Onyx Slabs. The countertops in the kitchen Mystic Gold Quartz with the bar upper are Dekton Keranium Tech Collection with Legrand Adorne electrical outlets. Appliances: Miele 30” Truffle Brown Convection oven stacked with a combination Miele Steam and convection oven, Dishwasher is Gaggenau fully integrated automatic, Wine cooler, refrigerator and freezer is Thermador. Under counter refrigeration is U Line. The sinks are Blanco Solon Composite System. The ceiling mount hood is Futuro Skylight Series with the drop down ceiling finished in a walnut veneer. The tile in the pool table room is Bisazza Mosaic Tile with cabinetry by Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry in the same finishes as the kitchen. Flooring throughout the three living areas is Eleganza Porcelain Tile. The cabinetry in the adjoining family room is Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry in the same wood as the other areas in the kitchen but with a High Gloss Walnut. The entertainment wall is Limestone Slab with Limestone Stack Stone. The Lime Stone Stack Stone also accents the pillars in the foyer and the entry to the game room. Speaker system throughout area is SONOS wireless home theatre system.

Above and Beyond is the third residence in a four-home collection in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Originally the site of the abandoned Kachina Elementary School, the infill community, appropriately named Kachina Estates, embraces the remarkable views of Camelback Mountain. Nestled into an acre sized pie shaped cul-de-sac lot, the lot geometry and front facing view orientation created a remarkable privacy challenge and influenced the forward facing facade and massing. An iconic, stone-clad massing wall element rests within an oversized south-facing fenestration, creating separation and privacy while affording views “above and beyond.” Above and Beyond has Mid-Century DNA married with a larger sense of mass and scale. The pool pavilion bridges from the main residence to a guest casita which visually completes the need for protection and privacy from street and solar exposure. The pie-shaped lot which tapered to the south created a challenge to harvest south light. This was one of the largest spatial organization influencers for the design. The design undulates to embrace south sun and organically creates remarkable outdoor living spaces. This modernist home has a palate of granite and limestone wall cladding, plaster, and a painted metal fascia. The wall cladding seamlessly enters and exits the architecture affording interior and exterior continuity. Kachina Estates was named an Award of Merit winner at the 2019 Gold Nugget Awards in the category of Best Residential Detached Collection of the Year. The annual awards ceremony was held at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco, CA in May 2019. Water efficient landscaping was used through out. privacy and shade was provided.energy efficient and comfortable home. energy star appliance and HVAC. solar panel, solar water heater and instant water heater were used.
