The custom laundry room remodel brings together classic and modern elements, combining the timeless appeal of a black and white checkerboard-pattern marble tile floor, white quartz countertops, and a glossy white ceramic tile backsplash. The laundry room’s Shaker cabinets, painted in Benjamin Moore Boothbay Gray, boast floor to ceiling storage with a wall mounted ironing board and hanging drying station. Additional features include full size stackable washer and dryer, white apron farmhouse sink with polished chrome faucet and decorative floating shelves.

The beautiful design of this laundry room makes the idea of doing laundry seem like less of a chore! This space includes ample counter space, cabinetry storage, as well as a sink.

Our La Cañada studio designed this lovely home, keeping with the fun, cheerful personalities of the homeowner. The entry runner from Annie Selke is the perfect introduction to the house and its playful palette, adding a welcoming appeal. In the dining room, a beautiful, iconic Schumacher wallpaper was one of our happy finishes whose vines and garden colors begged for more vibrant colors to complement it. So we added bold green color to the trims, doors, and windows, enhancing the playful appeal. In the family room, we used a soft palette with pale blue, soft grays, and warm corals, reminiscent of pastel house palettes and crisp white trim that reflects the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches of Bermuda! The formal living room looks elegant and sophisticated, with beautiful furniture in soft blue and pastel green. The curtains nicely complement the space, and the gorgeous wooden center table anchors the space beautifully. In the kitchen, we added a custom-built, happy blue island that sits beneath the house’s namesake fabric, Hydrangea Heaven. ---Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. The laundry room was also very lacking in storage and became a catch all room. New upper and lower cabinets now line two walls in the room and include custom dog kennels. A rack hung between two upper cabinets is perfect for hanging freshly laundered clothes, and the same countertop from the kitchen is carried through, providing a surface for folding. The fantastic, whimsical wallpaper and green and white tile, checked floor inject the room with personality, creating a happy space to do a mundane chore.

Major remodel of a 6,000 SQFT penthouse condominium. The condominium was demo'd to bare bones and built back to an exquisite contemporary penthouse with custom cabinets, custom millwork, glass enclosed wine room, dog wash room, tile flooring, and a steam-shower in the master bathroom.

There is a front loading washer and dryer providing for easy access from the wheelchair, although she can stand up at the counter and fold laundry and put other supplies away. The laundry room is open and inviting for easy access and continue on to the Master Bath, separated by a pocket door. There are no door thresholds as the waterproof vinyl floor was placed in the bathroom as well which makes for great bathroom access. There is also wainscoting wall protection that runs the entire hallway for wall safety.
