Rendez-vous au cœur du 9ème arrondissement à quelques pas de notre agence parisienne, pour découvrir un appartement haussmannien de 72m2 entièrement rénové dans un esprit chaleureux, design et coloré. Dès l’entrée le ton est donné ! Dans cet appartement parisien, courbes et couleurs naturelles sont à l’honneur. Acheté dans son jus car inhabité depuis plusieurs années, nos équipes ont pris plaisir à lui donner un vrai coup d’éclat. Le couloir de l’entrée qui mène à la cuisine a été peint d’un vert particulièrement doux « Ombre Pelvoux » qui se marie au beige mat des nouvelles façades Havstorp Ikea et à la crédence en mosaïque signée Winckelmans. Notre coup de cœur dans ce projet : les deux arches créées dans la pièce de vie pour ouvrir le salon sur la salle à manger, initialement cloisonnés. L’avantage de rénover un appartement délabré ? Partir de zéro et tout recommencer. Pour ce projet, rien n’a été laissé au hasard. Le brief des clients : optimiser les espaces et multiplier les rangements. Dans la chambre parentale, notre menuisier a créé un bloc qui intègre neufs tiroirs et deux penderies toute hauteur, ainsi que deux petits placards avec tablette de part et d’autre du lit qui font office de chevets. Quant au couloir qui mène à la salle de bain principale, une petite buanderie se cache dans des placards et permet à toute la famille de profiter d’une pièce spacieuse avec baignoire, double vasque et grand miroir !

Complete Renovation of an authentic Mid Century Modern kitchen, retaining its original charm but modernizing and opening the space

Ultramodern British Kitchen in Ferring, West Sussex Sea Green handleless furniture from our British supplier and wonderful Corian surfaces combine in this coastal kitchen. The Brief This Ferring project required a kitchen rethink in terms of theme and layout. In a relatively compact space, the challenge for designer Aron was to incorporate all usual amenities whilst keeping a spacious and light feel in the room. Corian work surfaces were a key desirable for this project, with the client also favouring a nod to the coastal setting of the property within the kitchen theme. Design Elements The layout of the final design makes the most of an L-shape run to maximise space, with appliances built-in and integrated to allow the theme of the kitchen to take centre-stage. The theme itself delivers on the coastal design element required with the use of Sea Green furniture. During the design phase a handleless kitchen became the preferred choice for this client, with the design utilising the Segreto option from British supplier Mereway – also chosen because of the vast colour options. Aron has used furniture around an American fridge freezer, whilst incorporating a nice drinks area, complete with wine bottle storage and glazed black feature door fronts. Lighting improvements have also been made as part of the project in the form of undercabinet lighting, downlights in the ceiling and integrated lighting in the feature cupboard. Special Inclusions As a keen cook, appliance choices were an important part of this project for the client. For this reason, high-performance Neff appliances have been utilised with features like Pyrolytic cleaning included in both the Slide & Hide single oven and compact oven. An intuitive Neff induction hob also features in this project. Again, to maintain the theme appliances have been integrated where possible. A dishwasher and telescopic extractor hood are fitted behind Sea Green doors for this reason. Project Highlight Corian work surfaces were a key requirement for this project, with the client enjoying them in their previous kitchen. A subtle light ash option has been chosen for this project, which has also been expertly fabricated in to a seamless 1.5 bowl sink area complete with drainer grooves. The End Result The end result is a wonderful kitchen design that delivers on all the key requirements of the project. Corian surfaces, high-performance appliances and a Sea Green theme tick all the boxes of this project brief. The kitchen features European-style, frame-less cabinets in natural cherry. By eliminating the soffits, we were able to increase the overall height and storage capacity. Oil rubbed bronze was selected for all finishes. The flooring is Marmoleum tile, in color Butter -- a "green" alternative that offers durability, unique design, and easy cleaning. The undercabinet lighting showcases the Cambria Aberdeen quartz countertop, which offers rare beauty and is the centerpiece of the kitchen. The colorfulness of the countertop is balanced with a solid-colored glass tile for the backsplash.

Small, budget friendly kitchen renovation influenced by Shaker design. Finely crafted maple cabinets incorporated with existing cabinets. Oil rubbed bronze hardware. Authentic linoleum floors. Stainless appliances with black accents.

This kitchen was semi-altered to create a much more ample space to store items and employ more work surfaces which were almost non-existent. In addition we installed a black corona countertop with chamfered edge, elegant new stainless sink and faucets and mirrored backsplash to add style but also to enlarge the feeling of the narrow space. The original cabinets were painted a lacquer black and the floor tiled in a bright red Forbo linoleum. NB we wish we could have installed a better stove but this New York City building limits the apartment owners to electric only.
