The designer of the client came to me with a Astraea Undosa sea shell , she had seem my work and asked me if I could design a kitchen for her . After asking what she liked about the sea shell , I develloped a new technique mixed hand carving stiched edge and beautiful eucalyptus veneer . The tops and floor are cyprus natural stone . The two subzero refrigerators are invisible behind the full size stitched doors. The dovetail drawers are on full extension touch latch . Stunning result isn't it ?Photo Langin Designs .

This section of the kitchen remodel features a 36" Viking Gas Range. Range hood is a custom French Curve hood with French cut valance front. Wall cabinets feature a custom French style mullion with antique glass inserts. Cabinet pulls are Schaub Corinthian style with Michelangelo Finish. The Wood is Rustic Alder in a full overlay door, raised panel with applied moulding. Finish is Sherwood Fruitwood with a Black Walnut glaze. Features custom cut French Style toe boards.

The inspiration for the remodel of this San Francisco Victorian came from an unlikely source – the owner’s modern-day cabinet of curiosities, brimming with jars filled with preserved aquatic body parts and specimens. This room now becomes the heart of the home, with glimpses into the collection a constant presence from every space. A partially translucent glass wall (derived from the genetic code of a Harbor Seal) and shelving system protects the collection and divides the owner’s study from the adjacent family room. Dating to the early 20th century, Craftsmen houses originated in southern California and quickly spread throughout the country, eventually becoming one of the early 20th century’s most beloved architectural styles. Holbrooke features Craftsman quality and Shingle style details and suits today’s homeowners who have vintage sensibilities as well as modern needs. Outside, wood shingles, dovecote, cupola, large windows and stone accents complement the front porch, which welcomes with attractive trim and columns. Step inside, the 1,900-square-foot main level leading from the foyer into a spacious 17-foot living room with a distinctive raised ceiling leads into a spacious sun room perfect for relaxing at the end of the day when work is done.
