This re-imagined open plan space where a white gloss galley once stood offers a stylish update on the traditional kitchen layout. Individually spaced tall cabinets are recessed in to a hidden wall to the left to create a sense of a wider space than actually exists and the removal of all wall cabinets opens out the room to add much needed light and create a vista. Cooking essentials are all within reach for the serious chefs in this home! Faced with a cramped eat-in kitchen our job was to both maximize and open up the space. By relocating the refrigerator and surrounding it with pantry cabinets, we were able to create more counter space and allow space for two chefs. Warm stained-wood open corner shelving was installed to display the chefs’ favorite items and keep them right at an arm's reach. The breakfast table is now positioned at the window, giving diners a view of the beautiful backyard. The finishes (Executive Cabinetry - Putnam door style in Alabaster paint; Belgian Blue Satin quartz counters by Alleanza) blend seamlessly with the rest of the home.

Cuisine ultra fonctionnelle. Elle a tout d'une grande ! Tout y est : Lave linge, Lave vaisselle, four combiné, grandes plaques de cuisson, hotte ... Très claire et gaie, elle est ouverte sur la pièce de vie.

L'ancienne cuisine laquée rouge a laissé place à une cuisine design et épurée, aux lignes pures et aux matériaux naturels, tel que le béton ciré , le bois ou encore l'ardoise et la couleur tendance: le vert L'idée première pour la rénovation de cette cuisine était d'enlever la couleur laquée rouge de l'ancienne cuisine, les caissons étant en bon état, juste les portes ont été changées. De l'éclairage a été mis en place afin de mettre en valeur la décoration de l'alcôve mais aussi un luminaire spécifique aux plantes afin de leur permettent de pousser dans de bonnes conditions. Les tabourets quand à eux, ont été dessinés par moi même et créé par un artisan métallier sur mesure

This home was originally built in the early 1900's. It sat for many years in disrepair. A new owner came along and wanted to transform the space, keeping the footprint as close to original as possible.
