The goal of the homeowner was to modernize and make the existing kitchen more functional by adding storage, countertop work space, and better task lighting. Castle was able to design an updated kitchen that refaced and painted half of the cabinets and added new deeper cabinets in an L shape that helped meet the clients goals. White painted shaker style doors and slab drawers help compliment the locally made recycled glass countertops and white oak hardwood floors. Thanks to ample LED cabinet lighting the most noticeable feature of this updated kitchen is the local hand-made mid-century backsplash tile from Mercury Mosaics. A new ThermaTru fiberglass backdoor was also installed. Stainless steel LG appliances from Warner’s Stellian and classic chrome accessories and fixtures give the perfect finishing touches. The Royal Mile Kitchen perfects the collaboration between contemporary & character features in this beautiful, historic home. The kitchen uses a clean and fresh colour scheme with White Quartz worktops and Inchyra Blue painted handleless cabinets throughout. The ultra-sleek large island provides a stunning centrepiece and makes a statement with its wraparound worktop. A convenient seating area is cleverly created around the island, allowing the perfect space for informal dining.

This historic piece is the kitchen's only original piece left after demo. Its inset design is the basis for the rest of the kitchen cabinets. We removed the doors, drawers, and shelving to be carefully disassembled, stripped and cleaned up piece by piece before reassembling to its previous glory. The cabinet was primed in an air positive paint chamber and hand painted on location with Banjamin Moore Satin Impervo oil enamel.

Designing a show home kitchen with dark cabinets involved a thoughtful balance of contrast and harmony to create a stunning and sophisticated space. The dark cabinets served as a bold focal point, grounding the room with a sense of richness and elegance. The deep hue added depth and drama to the kitchen, while the sleek, modern design complemented the overall aesthetic of the space. To offset the darkness of the cabinets and create visual interest, light chairs were chosen to provide a striking contrast. The light chairs brightened the room but also added a touch of airness and warmth to the space. The neutral tones helped to balance the dark cabinets, creating a harmonious blend of light and dark elements that enhanced the overall design. The careful selection of materials and finishes further elevated the design of the show home kitchen. High quality countertops in a complementary colour were chosen to contrast with the dark cabinets and tie the design elements together. Stainless steel appliances added a sleek and modern touch, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.

We love the clean and crisp lines of this beautiful German manufactured kitchen in Hither Green. The inclusion of the peninsular island which houses the Siemens induction hob, creates much needed additional work top space and is a lovely sociable way to cook and entertain. The completely floor to ceiling cabinets, not only look stunning but maximise the storage space available. The combination of the warm oak Nebraska doors, wooden floor and yellow glass splash back compliment the matt white lacquer doors perfectly and bring a lovely warmth to this open plan kitchen space.

Nestled in a lovely location just north of Chelmsford, this country home was destined for a bespoke handmade kitchen at its heart. Working with our clients and the existing space, we produced a design that would marry the earthy tones, large windows and beautiful sunlight. The real emphasis was put not only on the practicality of the kitchen layout but the symmetry, clean lines and flow of the design. It has made the family use their kitchen different from their previous one, as cabinetry has been intelligently designed so that primary tasks can be carried out efficiently between the sink area, oven and refrigerator. Each of the working zones has helped the space flow and function naturally, enabling the family to perform daily tasks with ease. Bringing you Neff’s latest design, to this country kitchen in its own housing. Our client wanted something new and enticing to add to their kitchen design and opted for the new colourway, Graphite by Neff. The brief was to choose appliances that would be the latest trend but also a convenient way of cooking and of course looked good! Although the kitchen has been designed to suit a country vibe, it has a wonderful array of modern features including a Quooker Flex tap in a chrome finish – a handy, flexible pull-out hose, that dispenses 100°C boiling, hot and cold water.
