Tournant le dos à la terrasse malgré la porte-fenêtre qui y menait, l’agencement de la cuisine de ce bel appartement marseillais ne convenait plus aux propriétaires. La porte-fenêtre a été déplacée de façon à se retrouver au centre de la façade. Une fenêtre simple l’a remplacée, ce qui a permis d’installer l’évier devant et de profiter ainsi de la vue sur la terrasse.. Dissimulés derrière un habillage en plaqué chêne, le frigo et les rangements ont été rassemblés sur le mur opposé. C’est le contraste entre le papier peint à motifs et la brillance des zelliges qui apporte couleurs et fantaisie à cette cuisine devenue bien plus fonctionnelle pour une grande famille !. The ultimate coastal beach home situated on the shoreintracoastal waterway. The kitchen features white inset upper cabinetry balanced with rustic hickory base cabinets with a driftwood feel. The driftwood v-groove ceiling is framed in white beams. he 2 islands offer a great work space as well as an island for socializng.

We took our clients home to the next level. A touch of glamour from every vantage point and a custom crafted the hood center stage finished in stainless and accented with matte brass. Sitting snuggly next to the custom hood are wall cabinets in a two-toned finish with X mullions. The inserts in the wall cabinets where chosen to be an antique mirror to add a big of glam but also to keep the mess hidden behind the door. It’s not just a place to cook dinner, it’s an interior design, it’s decor that deserves to be featured in a magazine. Metallic accents will give your kitchen a glamorous touch no matter its style or design: silver, bronze, rose or yellow gold work especially great in neutral black and white interiors. Patterned, metallic, or textured, interesting backsplash tile bring this kitchen to the next level by adding character to the kitchen design. Across from the kitchen is the open family room area that lacked seating and flow. Our design team felt like it was important to combine this kitchen and family room into a great room and not single entities. Every room should connect to those around it in some way. This was a long narrow space in a semi basement area where the living area opened up onto the garden. The high gloss red kitchen was from our Italian supplier, Biefbi, and comes with a high build specification. We can specify any colour. The stainless steel post to the dining table was specially fabricated. The corner hob and hood was an elegant solution.

Overhead kitchen cabinets originally above the cooktop made the kitchen feel dark and cramped. To create a brighter open space the bank of upper cabinets were removed and a new airy glass range-hood was installed. A full-height wall of new white subway tile with a colorful, horizontal band of custom-made glass tile gives this Mid-Century kitchen personality while visually expanding the space. Built with cabinets from two cabinet companies, this kitchen perimeter is a Woodland Cabinetry Galveston raised door style in Alder with a Heather wash stain. The island is a Brookhaven II Edgemont recessed door style in Cherry finished in Cinnabar with a pewter glaze. Cambria's popular Berwyn quartz countertops pull the two cabinet finishes together. Richelieu 'Crystal' cup pulls and knobs add decoration. Angie Farrell, ASID
