This project was a narrow kitchen in Bromham Bedfordshire. We removed the kitchen and some small stud walls to maximise the space, and fitted this beautiful ash Aldana skinny shaker kitchen painted in Marine. The customer chose laminate worktop, LVT floor fitted in a herringbone style, brass handles and tap and a feature splashback.

Outre la perte de place liée à cette configuration, l'ensemble nécessitait d'être complètement déconstruit et refait. La dépose des cloisons constituant wc et salle de bains a permis de disposer d'un nouvel espace à travaille de façon ergonomique. Une cloison ave 2 portes à galandage a été créée, pour accueillir à gauche sur la photo de nouveaux WC suspendus avec lave-mains, et à droite une salle d'eau avec douche à l'italienne. Si l'entrée de la salle de bains nécessite de passer par la cuisine, c'est ici un moindre frein, s'agissant d'une résidence de vacances de bord de mer et non d'une résidence principale, et c'était probablement la meilleure solution pour gagner de la place côté espace de vie. Une vraie cuisine (So Coo'c) a été installée, digne d'une grande : nombreux rangements, plaque induction, four pyrolyse, lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur congélateur (caché derrière la cloison bleue créée à cet effet). Une faïence aux motifs losange noir et blanc apporte du relief et du caractère à la cuisine blanche et bois clair. Des tabourets de bar (Maison du Monde) aux couleurs variées, du bleu au brique en passant par le rose poudré, apporte de la gaieté et de l'originalité, tout en restant doux.

This galley kitchen was opened up to the dining room. The soffit was removed and the 42" cabinets now extend to the ceiling. Pendant lights were used in front of the windows that match the scroll pattern of the dining room chandelier.

This 1960's kitchen condo had a dated floorplan. It was cramped, tiny and separated from the main living/dining area. To create a space more suitable for entertaining, all three walls were removed. The old bar area was incorporated into the new footprint. Brick veneer was used as a kitchen backsplash, installed up to the ceiling and around the side. It gives the illusion that the brick was always there, lurking behind the wall. To hide the electrical components, we added soffits and posts. This helped define the kitchen area. A knee wall in front of the island hides more electrical and adds counter depth. The open space between the counters was extended from 36 inches to 50, making it comfortable for multiple chefs. Space was limited in this kitchen so a streamlined galley style was chosen. Soft grey cupboards in a modern laminate were complimented by more traditional knobs and cup pull handles, with a subway tile splash-back, to create a contemporary kitchen with a classic influence.

For this kitchen renovation we did a complete gut out; the built in shelving was removed and the wall was extended to fit the fridge. We installed white shaker style kitchen cabinets, that feature soft closing drawer slides and matte black accessories. Some add on features in the kitchen include, a majic corner, spice rack and recycling/garbage system in the cabinets. A laminate countertop was installed with a craquel light grey, 3×12 glossy backsplash. The walls were refreshed with regal select ulti-matte silken pine and we installed pot lights and new light fixtures. The closet in the kitchen was also updated with a fresh coat of paint.
