Важным местом для семьи также является кухня. Они любят устраивать романтические вечера, красиво сервировать стол. Немецкий гарнитур от компании Leicht выполнен в минималистическом стиле – имеет двухцветное исполнение. Дверные ручки отсутствуют, чтобы не нарушать геометрические пропорции фасадов. На одной стене полностью отсутствует верхний ряд шкафов. Вытяжка и варочная панель BORA Basic в едином модуле. Стена отделана широкоформатным керамогранитом Arch Skin. Одинаковая фактура материалов стен и пола - довольно необычный подход к отделке жилого помещения, но несмотря на визуальный холод материала, создает очень приятное, обволакивающее ощущение. Потолок кухни имеет несколько уровней и вариаций архитектурного освещения «Центрсвет». Гарнитур, стены и потолок - фон. Главным акцентом как раз стал яркий оригинальный стол и стулья. Массивная латунная опора стола Deod от SOVET Italia выполнена в естественном равновесии геометрии. Автор Джанлуиджи Ландони был вдохновлен скульптурными линиями Доломитовых Альп. Стулья Magda Couture от Cattelan Italia в представлении не нуждается. Это новая версия модели, с простёжкой.

Our client envisioned an inviting, open plan area that effortlessly blends the beauty of contemporary design with the charm of a country-style kitchen. They wanted a central hub, a sociable cooking and seating area, where the whole family could gather, share stories, and create lasting memories. For this exceptional project, we utilised the finest craftsmanship and chose Masterclass furniture in Hunter Green and Farringdon Grey. The combination brings a harmonious blend of sophistication and rustic allure to the kitchen space. To complement the furniture and enhance its elegance, we selected solid oak worktops, with the oak’s warm tones and natural grains offering a classic aesthetic while providing durability and functionality for everyday use. We installed top-of-the-line Neff appliances to ensure that cooking and meal preparations are an absolute joy. The seamless integration of modern technology enhances the efficiency of the kitchen, making it a pleasure to work in. Our client's happiness is the ultimate measure of our success. We are thrilled to share that our efforts have left our client beaming with satisfaction. After completing the kitchen project, we were honoured to be trusted with another project, installing a utility/boot room for the client. In the client's own words: "After 18 months, I now have the most fabulous kitchen/dining/family space and a utility/boot room. It was a long journey as I was having an extension built and some internal walls removed, and I chose to have the fitting done in two stages, wanting the same fitters for both jobs. But it's been worth the wait. Catherine's design skills helped me visualise from the architect's plans what each space would look like, making the best use of storage space and worktops. The kitchen fitters had an incredible eye for detail, and everything was finished to a very high standard. Was it an easy journey? To be honest, no, as we were working through Brexit and Covid, but The Kitchen Store worked well with my builders and always communicated with me in a timely fashion regarding any delays. The Kitchen Store also came on site to check progress and the quality of finish. I love my new space and am excited to be hosting a big family Christmas this year." Removing the wall cabinets and replacing it with a vented hood eliminated the need to have a ceiling fan in the kitchen. Enclosing the new fridge by adding tall side panels allowed room for an upper cabinet for additional storage.

Design consultation and advising for DIY/Budget Renovation. Owner purchased this condo with a very cramped and dated kitchen and light fixtures, and early 2000s-era café paint colors. Owner did a lot of the work himself or with friends to keep the budget down. HDC advised on design details and paint colors, chose light fixtures (ceiling lights for kitchen and dining and arch floor lamp in living room). HDC also assisted with creating a new kitchen floor plan, which involved removing one wall, replacing existing tile and modifying flooring transition location, replacing all cabinetry except for the tall pantry cabinet, choosing cabinet paint, installing modern cabinet hardware, replacing laminate counters with a budget white quartz prefab counter, replacing appliances, sink, and faucet, and installing a low-cost peel & stick backsplash. Due to budget constraints, we could not remove the entire wall between the kitchen and dining space to make the wall completely flush from the kitchen to dining area transition, but decided to relocate the refrigerator to that wall nonetheless, in order to improve sightlines and improve traffic flow and function for refrigerator access. We created a coffee/drinks bar where the original fridge was located. The owner decided to keep the existing water line that had serviced the ice maker in the fridge where it was previously located (and cap it temporarily). He plans to plumb it in the future to support a filtered drinking water line and auto-filling coffee maker to finish out the drink center. Ultimately, we couldn't stretch the budget for a perfect layout, but we were still able to improve the function and open up the flow of this hub of the condo for better entertaining and more convenient homeowner use of the space.
