The interior of the home is distinguished as well as comfortable. Graceful pillars at the covered entry lead into the lower foyer. The ground level features a bonus room, full bath, walk-in closet, and garage. Upon entering the main level, the south-facing wall is filled with numerous windows to provide the entire space with lake views and natural light. The hearth room with a coffered ceiling and covered terrace opens to the kitchen and dining area. The best views were saved on the upper level for the master suite. Third-floor of this traditional carriage house is a sanctuary featuring an arched opening covered porch, two walk-in closets, and an en suite bathroom with a tub and shower. Round Lake carriage house is located in Charlevoix, Michigan. Round lake is the best natural harbor on Lake Michigan. Surrounded by the City of Charlevoix, it is uniquely situated in an urban center, but with access to thousands of acres of the beautiful waters of northwest Michigan. The lake sits between Lake Michigan to the west and Lake Charlevoix to the east.

Inspiration came from hand paint French tiles from the wife's mother. Dress Blues by Sherwin Willaims was chosen for the island and the window trim as the focal point of the kitchen. The home owner had collected many antique copper pieces, so copper finishes were incorporated from the lighting, to the hood panels to the rub-through on the bronze cabinet hardware. These owners wanted to update their historic 1860s home with modern amenities while still honoring Nantucket style influences. They had worked with DEANE on three previous projects, and the vision for this collaboration was a stylish, yet low-key kitchen that would host endless vacation gatherings. A family of seven who loved to cook together, it was key to create multiple work and seating areas that were functional but still beautiful. DEANE designed a two-toned effect with white oak lower cabinetry for durability and Chantilly Lace upper wall cabinetry for contrast. The clients decided to panel the appliances for a cohesive visual line. The understated white Quartz countertops and simple ceramic tile backsplash allow the cool wood tones of the cabinetry to be the focal point, while the high-gloss lacquer shiplap ceiling casts a glow.

Entertaining was key in this custom built home enveloping one of a kind kitchen with many custom cabinets, beverage pantry, storage pantry, master bath, laundry room, guest baths.

Customer's goal to utilize the space to the maximum, the floor plan stayed the same, we utilized drawer base cabinets for practicality and 42" wall cabinets for additional storage.

Inspiration for a transitional light wood floor and beige floor kitchen remodel in Tampa with an under mount sink, white cabinets, navy blue cabinets, dual color cabinets, gray backsplash, ceramic backsplash, an island, shaker cabinets, paneled appliances, white calacatta quartz on cabinets and black granite countertops on the island.

The home has a large spacious and open Great Room, Kitchen and Dining Area, all looking out to pool and lake beyond.

Thankfully this Northeast home had room for its kitchen to grow. The 9 foot by 8 foot kitchen had an adjacent, 6 foot by 11 foot office space which could be given up so the kitchen could expand into it. With this all the plumbing fixtures and appliances got rearranged, larger windows were installed and a glass exterior door was added along with a little deck. The new kitchen is almost double in size, comfortably accommodating cooks, guests and a cat. Plus an adjacent, secondary stairway was taken out so a half bathroom could go in its place. Along with a new pantry, well-made Crystal Cabinets span the kitchen to offer more storage than some know what to do with. Durable new Silestone quartz and butcher block countertops make for great working surfaces. Thoughtful plays on colors bring a sense of balance, calm, and light. Intentional selections made to make the kitchen fit with the home include; new hard wood flooring same size and species as existing, dark hardware, shaker style cabinetry and subway tile. To mix in a pop of local, colorful flare locally made Clay Squared tile is showcased above the range. Overall the remodeled kitchen allows for a whole new way of life that is being much enjoyed!
