The floor tile is Pebble Beach and Halila in a Versailles pattern by Carmel Stone Imports. The kitchen sink is a Austin single bowl farmer sink in smooth copper with an antique finish by Barclay. The cabinets are walnut flat-panel done by palmer woodworks. The kitchen faucet is a Chesterfield bridge faucet with a side spray in english bronze. We revamped this 1960's Mid-Century Valley Glen home, by transforming its wide spacious kitchen into a modern mid-century style. We completely removed the old cabinets, reconfigured the layout, upgraded the electrical and plumbing system of the kitchen. We installed 6 dimmable recessed light cans, new GFI outlets, new switches, and brand-new appliances. We moved the stovetop's location opposite from its original location for the sake of space efficiency to create new countertop space for dining. Relocating the stovetop required creating a new gas line and ventilation pipeline. We installed 56 linear feet of beautiful custom flat-panel walnut and off-white cabinets that house the stovetop refrigerator, wine cellar, sink, and dishwasher seamlessly. The cabinets have beautiful gold brush hardware, self-close mechanisms, adjustable shelves, full extension drawers, and a spice rack pull-out. There is also a pullout drawer that glides out quietly for easy access to store essentials at the party. We installed 45 sq. ft. of teal subway tile backsplash adds a pop of color to the brown walnut, gold, and neutral color palette of the kitchen. The 45 sq. ft. of countertop is made of a solid color off-white custom-quartz which matches the color of the top cabinets of the kitchen. Paired with the 220 sq. ft. of natural off-white stone flooring tiles, the color combination of the kitchen embodies the essence of modern mid-century style.

Diese Küche bietet maximalen Stauraum und clevere Highlights. Die Kombination aus weiß und Holzoptik wirkt zeitlos, elegant und warm. Vor allem die mit LED beleuchtete Kaffeenische ist ein echter Hingucker. Dass die Küche einen Durchgang zur Speisekammer besitzt, fällt gar nicht auf.

While renovating their home located on a horse farm in Bedford, NY, it wasn’t surprising this husband and wife (who also is an equestrian) wanted their house to have a “barn feel”. To start, sourced reclaimed wood was used on the walls, floors and ceiling beams. This traditional kitchen, designed by Paulette Gambacorta, features Bilotta Collection cabinetry in a flush flat panel custom green paint with a glaze on maple. An added detail of a “crossbuck” end on the peninsula was custom made from reclaimed wood and inspired by the look of barn doors. Reclaimed wood shelves on iron brackets replaced upper cabinets for easy access. The marble countertops have a hand cut edge detail to resemble the look of when the stone was first quarried. An antique carpenter’s work bench was restored by the builder, for use as an island and extra work station. An apron front sink and a wains panel backsplash completed the barn look and feel. Diese offene Küche bereicherten wir um eine Theke als bequemen Sitzplatz für einen genüsslichen Kaffee und das Gespräch zwischen den Anwesenden. Viele Schubladen bieten reichlich Stauraum, selbst der tote Winkel unter der Theke ist als Schrank von der Wohnzimmerseite aus zu nutzen. Die warme, geölte Holzarbeitsplatte kontrastiert harmonisch mit der glatten, glänzenden Front. Thematisch achteten wir darauf, dass die Theke punktgenau auf die Fuge zwischen Holzparkett und Schieferboden trifft, um den Übergang vom Wohn- zum Küchenbereich zu unterstreichen. Passend dazu verlängerten wir mit einfachen Mitteln die rechte Seitenwand, die so die Hochschrankzeile bis zu ihrem Sockel geschickt verbirgt. Mit diesen Stilmitteln erscheinen nun beide Räume eigenständig und sind doch untrennbar miteinander verbunden.
