Ensuring an ingrained sense of flexibility in the planning of the dining and kitchen area, and how each space connected and opened to the next – was key. A dividing door by IQ Glass is hidden into the Molteni & Dada kitchen units, planned by AC Spatial Design. Together, the transition between inside and out, and the potential for extend into the surrounding garden spaces, became an integral component of the new works.

Modern kitchen, subway tiles, concrete bench tops with recycled timber cabinets. Under floor heating and sunlight concrete slab keeps the house warm in winter. Concealed sliding doors disappear into the wall.

Mixing dark quartzy grey AlnoStar Dur, a matt textured stone like finish, with a subtle light grey lacquer created the industrial look desired by our client. We designed and Alno tailor made each wall unit to 760mm wide to exactly fit the space available incorporating built in lighting beneath.
