Our client's modern and vibrant Kitchen is the hub of the home and the ideal place for a wall-mounted Apple iPad Mini connected to their Savant control system. The control system looks after the heating, music, security, door access and lighting and shade for the entire house (although they prefer to control the lighting and shade from their stylish Lutron keypads). The control system can also be used via a dedicated Savant remote or their Apple iPhones.

Impluvium Architecture Location: Alamo, CA, USA This was our first personal Custom Home (our second is now under construction) and it functioned has Impluvium's Home / Office I was the Architect and Owner and directed all aspects of design and construction This was our personal + Impluvium's first personal Custom Home / Office. The design is actually a compromise between traditional and modern. We wanted to do a modern but our neighbor (another project of mine = Dinstell Residence) wanted to a French Country but I knew both styles would clash next to each other professionally - so we re-designed it as a Contemporary Craftsman with a Modern Interior.

Lutron lighting, blinds and curtains have been used throughout this home to truly enhance the daily lives of our clients. The blinds, such as these in the Kitchen / Media Room, are set to raise and lower with the sun each day and bespoke pre-set scenes have been programmed with the lighting to create the perfect shade for sunny afternoons or a cosy atmosphere for family dinners.
