Designed by Paula Truchon of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Frederick, MD in collaboration with Faber Custom Builders, this Rustic inspired kitchen design features Greenfield Cabinetry in the Augusta door style in 2 finishes. The perimeter kitchen cabinets feature Knotty Alder with the Federal finish. The island cabinets feature a paintable Cityscape finish. Kitchen countertops are granite in the color Steel Gray with a leathered finish. The kitchen tile backsplash features Unicom Starker Natural Slate Multi-color in 12x12 sheets. Gabe purchased the House from a builder and found many inadequacies, including a cheap hollow core, Pantry door with his expensive cherry cabinets. After searching for something special, we decided to design and have a door custom made. The end result was so note worthy as it looked like it belonged there, few commented until we pointed out that it was in fact new. I did my job!

@Sarah.a.intelligator.esq designed this great kitchen remodel in Glendale, CA! Sarah used our Quarter Sawn Mahogany Natural Wood Slab in her kitchen redesign using the #sektion system, pairing it with neutral tones with @cletile tile and @caesarstoneus countertops to accentuate the wood grain of the #Mahogany. The kitchen feels big and airy, with great natural light from the #kitchen window, and extra seating around the waterfall island. If you look closely, you’ll see some additional custom work we did at her request, as Sarah came to us with some inspiration for a unique touch on the outer side of the island. We created wood slats from Mahogany and mounted them to custom panels, which gave her an easier installation and an awesome finish! Looking even further through the room, you’ll see our custom floating shelves to match the Mahogany faces, brass hardware from @cb2 and @cedarandmoss fixtures, and unique pendant lighting from @virginiasin__ to finish it off. This twin home was the perfect home for these empty nesters – retro-styled bathrooms, beautiful fireplace and built-ins, and a spectacular garden. The only thing the home was lacking was a functional kitchen space. The old kitchen had three entry points – one to the dining room, one to the back entry, and one to a hallway. The hallway entry was closed off to create a more functional galley style kitchen that isolated traffic running through and allowed for much more countertop and storage space. The clients wanted a transitional style that mimicked their design choices in the rest of the home. A medium wood stained base cabinet was chosen to warm up the space and create contrast against the soft white upper cabinets. The stove was given two resting points on each side, and a large pantry was added for easy-access storage. The original box window at the kitchen sink remains, but the same granite used for the countertops now sits on the sill of the window, as opposed to the old wood sill that showed all water stains and wears. The granite chosen (Nevaska Granite) is a wonderful color mixture of browns, greys, whites, steely blues and a hint of black. A travertine tile backsplash accents the warmth found in the wood tone of the base cabinets and countertops. Elegant lighting was installed as well as task lighting to compliment the bright, natural light in this kitchen. A flip-up work station will be added as another work point for the homeowners – likely to be used for their stand mixer while baking goodies with their grandkids. Wallpaper adds another layer of visual interest and texture. The end result is an elegant and timeless design that the homeowners will gladly use for years to come. To further enhance the ambiance, under-bar lighting was strategically installed beneath the overhanging island countertop. This lighting element not only illuminated the bar seating area but also acted as a visual focal point, drawing the eye and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Bold, bright and beautiful. Just three of the many words we could use to describe the insanely cool Redhill Kitchen. The bespoke J-Groove cabinetry keeps this kitchen sleek and smooth, with light reflecting off the slab doors to keep the room open and spacious. Oak accents throughout the room softens the bold blue cabinetry, and grey tiles create a beautiful contrast between the two blues in the the room. Integrated appliances ensure that the burgundy Rangemaster is always the focus of the eye, and the reclaimed gym flooring makes the room so unique. This kitchen proves small East sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout, which complements the upper cabinets. The same hexite pattern was recreated by a local artist on the refrigerator panes. A textured striped linen fabric by Ralph Lauren was selected for the interior clerestory windows of the wall cabinets.
