In our world of kitchen design, it’s lovely to see all the varieties of styles come to life. From traditional to modern, and everything in between, we love to design a broad spectrum. Here, we present a two-tone modern kitchen that has used materials in a fresh and eye-catching way. With a mix of finishes, it blends perfectly together to create a space that flows and is the pulsating heart of the home. With the main cooking island and gorgeous prep wall, the cook has plenty of space to work. The second island is perfect for seating – the three materials interacting seamlessly, we have the main white material covering the cabinets, a short grey table for the kids, and a taller walnut top for adults to sit and stand while sipping some wine! I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend time in this kitchen?! Cabinetry With a tuxedo trend look, we used Cabico Elmwood New Haven door style, walnut vertical grain in a natural matte finish. The white cabinets over the sink are the Ventura MDF door in a White Diamond Gloss finish. Countertops The white counters on the perimeter and on both islands are from Caesarstone in a Frosty Carrina finish, and the added bar on the second countertop is a custom walnut top (made by the homeowner!) with a shorter seated table made from Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete. Backsplash The stone is from Marble Systems from the Mod Glam Collection, Blocks – Glacier honed, in Snow White polished finish, and added Brass. Fixtures A Blanco Precis Silgranit Cascade Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink in White works perfect with the counters. A Waterstone transitional pulldown faucet in New Bronze is complemented by matching water dispenser, soap dispenser, and air switch. The cabinet hardware is from Emtek – their Trinity pulls in brass. Appliances The cooktop, oven, steam oven and dishwasher are all from Miele. The dishwashers are paneled with cabinetry material (left/right of the sink) and integrate seamlessly Refrigerator and Freezer columns are from SubZero and we kept the stainless look to break up the walnut some. The microwave is a counter sitting Panasonic with a custom wood trim (made by Cabico) and the vent hood is from Zephyr.

After going through the tragedy of losing their home to a fire, Cherie Miller of CDH Designs and her family were having a difficult time finding a home they liked on a large enough lot. They found a builder that would work with their needs and incredibly small budget, even allowing them to do much of the work themselves. Cherie not only designed the entire home from the ground up, but she and her husband also acted as Project Managers. They custom designed everything from the layout of the interior - including the laundry room, kitchen and bathrooms; to the exterior. There's nothing in this home that wasn't specified by them. Book-matched ash wood kitchen by Poggenpohl Hawaii is like no other. The attention to detail provides a beautiful and functional working kitchen. This project was designed for multiple family members and each rave how much they appreciate the new layout and finishes. This oceanfront residence boasts an incredible ocean view and the Ann Sacks Tile mirror porcelain tile backsplash allows for enough reflection to enjoy the beauty from all directions. The porcelain tile floor looks and feels like natural limestone without the maintenance. The hand-tufted wool rug creates a sense of luxury while complying with association rules. Mid-Century Modern Kitchen that transcends decades of modernism from 1950's to 21st Century. Combine an "L" shaped kitchen with a bar pass through to the dining room

We deleted an ugly existing corner brick pantry, to create a small and nimble walk-in style pantry. The other hard part to this renovation was retaining as many floor tiles as possible. Luckily the clients had stored away x11 floor tiles in the garage, so we were able to make the island foot print bigger and centralised. The floor tiles were able to be laid seemlessly.

Featuring our bespoke shaker furniture, this recently completed project finished in Farrow & ball’s Purbeck stone with contrasting Hague blue island, adds a touch of classic luxury to an otherwise contemporary layout within a recently extended property consisting of a large kitchen, dining and living space.

This kitchen was designed utilizing the length and height of the space. While maintaining a truly functional working area. The emphases on a family kitchen as well as an entertainment area were achieved by keeping the functional components of the kitchen on one side while being able to socialize at an arms-length on the other. No one was to be made to feel left-out, with the island that eventual becomes a projected table to the workstation. Stainless steel was chosen to emphasize the gorgeousness and caliber of the appliances. Custom walnut cabinets accompanied by large format porcelain tile, and quartz counter-tops tie the space together. Hardware placement again reinforces clean lines of the kitchen.

A mountain modern designed kitchen complete with high-end Thermador appliances, a pot filler, two sinks, wood flat panel cabinets and a large counter height island. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the great room as well as connected to the large exterior deck through large glass sliders. The 10 foot custom walnut dining table was designed by principal interior & furniture designer Emily Roose. The great room linear fireplace has a custom concrete hearth and is clad in black metal as well as rusted steel columns. In between the rusted steel columns are Modular Art Panels that were custom painted and are lit with LED strips running down behind the rusted steel columns. The fireplace wall is clad in custom stained wood panels that also hides away the TV when not in use.
