Cutting-Edge Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex Situated in a picturesque Horsham Close, this kitchen is a recent design and full installation that now makes the most of a well-lit extension. Kitchen designer George from our Horsham showroom has undertaken the design of this project, delivering several desirables in a project that is packed with design and appliance functionality. With the extension of this local property in place, the task was to make the space available work better for this Horsham client. And, with flexible dining options, vast storage, and a neat monochrome aesthetic – George has achieved this spectacularly with a glorious end result. Kitchen Furniture To achieve the perfect dynamic for this space, a neutral kitchen furniture option has been selected from our German supplier Nobilia. The colourway opted for is Stone Grey, which has been selected in the popular matt effect Touch range, bringing subtle tone and a silk like texture to the space. The light colour choice of furniture for this space is purposeful, giving way to poignant black monochrome accents that contribute to the aesthetic. The Stone Grey furniture has been carefully designed to fully utilise the space. A long L-shape run houses most of the kitchen storage along with cooking appliances, feature wall units and sink area all placed here. A slimline island space with seating for four gives additional seating and a casual dining option with plenty of surrounding space. The final furniture component is a small run for the customers own American Fridge-Freezer, additional cooking appliances and pull-out storage area. Kitchen Appliances For this project a superior specification of Neff appliances has been used, with each area of appliances carefully thought through to fit the way this home operates. This client’s own American fridge freezer has been fitted neatly around furniture, with an impressive Neff coffee centre and N90 combination oven closely situated to form a morning drinks and breakfast station. Built-in to furniture opposite are two more high-spec N90 appliances, one of which is the notorious Neff Slide&Hide oven and the other is another combination oven. Along the long L-shape run a Neff angled cooker hood sits above an 80cm flexInduction hob, providing a spacious cooking area but also contributing to the monochrome aesthetic. A Neff dishwasher has been integrated close to the sink to create another station this time for cleaning and clearing up, whilst a CDA dual temperature wine cabinet features at the end of this run boasting a useful forty-five bottle capacity. Kitchen Accessories A vast expanse of hard-wearing quartz has been used for the worksurfaces throughout this kitchen, creating a nice complementary theme between the Stone Grey units and the Intense White Silestone worktops selected. Within the worktops drainer grooves have been fabricated alongside the sink as well as space for a useful EVOline flip switch island socket. A Blanco undermounted 1.5 bowl sink has been incorporated at the clients request with a matching chrome mixer and magnetic hose. The most noticeable accessory in this kitchen however is the immense glass black splashback fitted all the way along the main run in this space. Not only does this splashback give an easy wipe clean option, but it contributes massively to the monochrome feel that this client desired. This project utilised many trades from our fitting team with two full height radiators fitted in the kitchen area alongside all plumbing and a complete flooring refit, using durable Grey Limed Oak Karndean flooring. Kitchen Features Electing for German supplier Nobilia meant that this client also had extensive options when it came to deciding on feature units and extra kitchen inclusions. To operate this handleless kitchen, stainless steel rails have been incorporated for access – these create a linear and symmetric dynamic which is shown nicely with aligned pan drawers either side of the island space. Subtle glazed wall units have been used along the main run in the kitchen adding to the linear feel. These are joined by a ten-bottle exposed wine racking that is useful for storing at ambient temperature. A line-up of pull-out pantry boxes have been used towards the appliance end of this kitchen which each maximise storage space compared to conventional shelving. These boxes increase storage capacity of the kitchen, give easy access, and add an all-in-one-place storage theme for ambient items. Perfectly demonstrating that contemporary doesn't always have to mean "too clinical". Parallel furniture lines accentuate the room's length and help draw focus to the design’s centrepiece - the iconic, Sub-Zero refrigerators.

With spectacular views of the landscaped garden, this open plan kitchen is comfortable with a modern but country feel. We fitted a large round table to make this space the real hub of the house. We wanted to retain the Cotswolds converted barn features such as the exposed beams and the kitchen island naturally nests within the opening.

The Raffello high gloss anthracite slab is a bold statement kitchen, complete with urban styling and accents of metallic accessories that inject a dynamic sense of style into your space.

Extravagant design, touchable features and creative use of space intrigues from across the room, compelling one to draw nearer. Refrigerators anchor each end and integrate seamlessly with adjacent cabinetry housing other appliances, which merge to become one with the cabinets. Sleek designs in ovens and cooktops blend with the neighboring pro style range, hood and contrasting cabinetry, showcasing the indulgent details of a wide array of different appliances. An aquarium built into the base of the island creates that splash of unique character. Polished ‘Crystal Lagoon’ subway tile resembling underwater onyx, and ‘Wave’ pendants enhance the indulgent but tranquil ocean vibe.

Nobilia Kitchen in Angmering, West Sussex This kitchen design and installation is a recently rephotographed project that took place in Angmering, West Sussex. The design of this kitchen has been optimised to suit its location within the house and importantly the customer’s brief, which was to create a space that was social, spacious, homely and a sweeping link between the centre of the home and the garden. An impressive addition to this kitchen is the beautiful copper accents which represent a growing trend in kitchen design at the moment. Thanks to a number of impressive kitchen copper additions this theme is cleverly combined within kitchen appliances and design features. Kitchen Furniture The kitchen furniture used for this project is from one of our German supplier Nobilia’s most premium ranges: Lux. The Lux range is aptly named. Its composition utilises a quality lacquer which creates a flawless high-gloss finish and is extremely durable when usual kitchen use is inflicted. The gloss effect Lux range was chosen to reflect the client’s wish of a light kitchen space, with the gloss door fronts bouncing light around the room to create shimmering kitchen space. The two colour choices Satin Grey and Slate Grey combine perfectly with the use of copper accents, bringing balance to the space. A key feature of this kitchen space is the media area which has been highlighted and surrounded by luxurious glazed glass units and deep pan drawers for storage, which themselves have been upgraded throughout the kitchen to glass sided uprights for extra strength and style. Kitchen Appliances Along with kitchen furniture and cabinetry, careful selection of kitchen appliances were chosen for this kitchen not just to match the overall style but to match the necessary daily uses of the customer. The large bank of tall units houses not only cooking appliances, but integrated refrigeration and freezing appliances integrated seamlessly into the furniture. This bank features three ovens from cooking enthusiast inspired manufacturer Neff, in the form of two Slide&Hide single ovens and a Slide&Hide combination microwave oven. The fourth appliance in this appliance grid is a wine cabinet from manufacturer CDA which enables the powerful cooling of up to twenty-four Bordeaux wine bottles. On the longest run of units in this kitchen a Siemens IQ700 induction hob features in the unique stainless-steel finish, which is not only a stylish and in keeping appliance, it offers several innovative features like intuitive touchSlider operation, flexible induction zone cooking and fryingSensor technology. The most stylish appliance in this kitchen however, is undoubtedly the beautiful Elica Dolce cooker hood, which not only harnesses powerful extraction of cooking fumes but continues the classy copper theme further throughout this kitchen. Kitchen Features & Accessories To meet the brief of the customer this kitchen had to be functional, meaning clever storage solutions are included throughout this kitchen. An example of this is the pull-out Dispensa storage from Kesseböhmer which feature either side of the main bank of appliances and enable a small amount of space to harbour useful storage capacity. A Quooker flex boiling tap is used above a Blanco undermounted Silgranite sink which makes a safe boiling water supply accessible from the same faucet as usual cold and warm water. As part of the installation of this project our electrical team have installed copper pendant lighting centrally above the island, increasing the ability for this kitchen to work as a social space with touch flip plug sockets used in several places for easy access to power. Our Gas Safe registered team have also installed a full-height radiator which is shown in a contemporary grey shade matching the kitchen colour scheme. Nobilia Kitchen in Angmering, West Sussex This kitchen boasts so many desirable kitchen features in one space, with the design making the most of every inch of space to fit the initial brief of the customer. In Summer days the kitchen flows out to the large garden through expansive bi-fold doors which show the full beauty of this kitchen design and installation. A bespoke handle-less kitchen; with cabinet doors extending to the ceiling, creating a strong visual presence whilst maximising storage space. Subtle diffuse mood lighting throughout the lower level of the kitchen; multi-layered social breakfast bar area with lighting incorporated underneath. Quartz statuario was used on the splashbacks to give a striking impression as you enter the room, with pure white quartz on the counter tops. There is a separate bar area with wine cooler and storage either side with internal drawers. We also created media centre cabinets clad with statuario worktops on the top and sides to encapsulate the furniture. The whole space works in unison to create a timeless living area.

Modern kitchen and dining with 'Mid-Grey' Satin Matt Lacquered cabinets in a minimalist handleless style. Featuring Antique Bronze Mirrored Splashback with 'Rugged Concrete’ Quartz worktops by Caesarstone, and ‘Laurel Oak’ flooring by Moduleo, supplied and fitted in a herringbone pattern by us. Brass pendant island lights by Buster & Punch. Skylights let in extra light and aluminium bi-fold doors open up and lead into the garden.

When a client buys an old home next to a resort spa you have to add some current functionality and style to make it the desired modern beach cottage. For the renovation, we worked with the team including the builder, architect and of course the home owners to brightening the home with new windows, moving walls all the while keeping the over all scope and budget from not getting out of control. The master bathroom is clean and modern but we also keep the budget in mind and used luxury vinyl flooring with a custom tile detail where it meets with the shower. We decided to keep the front door and work into the new materials by adding rustic reclaimed wood that we hand selected. The project required creativity throughout to maximize the design style but still respect the overall budget since it was a large scape project.

Gorgeous custom countertops were created by our Design Team using epoxy combined with silver and pearl metallic pigments.

Kitchen has solid stone backsplash, stainless steel upper cabinet doors, light gray wood base cabinets, Miele appliances, an oversized 48 inch "the Galley Sink" with movable work surfaces, Caesarstone Calacatta Nuovo counters, walnut wood floating counter, and hidden downdraft cooktop.
